Retinyl Palmitate is a form of Retinol. Retinol, retinaldehyde, retinyle palmitate, provitamin A are forms of vitamin A. The palmitate is just a less strong form of it.

I notice it does contain "retinyl palmitate'--so if you have concerns about retinol, I would stay away from it. It also contains all kinds of silicone derivates, at the top of the ingredients list (highest concentration), which is what prob. gives the "baby smooth"effect.

It doesn't contain retinol, but it has a high level of peptides "to boost the production of natural collagen", according to the insert in the box.

I have sensitive skin which is prone to breakouts, but this serum didn't cause any breakouts or redness at all. It seems mild so I'm worried about its effectiveness, but it's only been 2 weeks so only time will tell.

So far, I like the feel of it upon application and the fact that it doesn't irritate my skin.

I asked at Sephora, no it doesn't and as far as I know the only "proven" anti-agers contain retinol. This baby can be used with anything...and it does not...I wish you could see my face and how young I look!

This product contains a number of peptides that are great anti-aging ingredients. I didn't have any issues with this treatment in terns of sensitivity. And, my skin can be on the picky side sometimes. I would suggest that you start with a smaller amount of product if your skin tends to be highly reactive. Hope this helps!

I just spoke with a Clinique specialist and she advises to apply laser repair AFTER even better clinical. She also said there is no wait time necessary between application. Just let the even better absorb and apply laser repair. Hope this helps!

Ideally you should be able to use 'Even Better' after 'Laser Focus'. But wait until the 'Laser' is completely dry--at least 10 minutes. Just make sure to use face lotion with an SFP. I'd avoid serums if you plan to put on any makeup.

I've been using this over a month and haven't seen any improvement with my dark spots so you might want to keep using the other product.

I have also used the Even Better serum and if your only concern is pigmenation, I would use that. If you want an all around product for texture, pimentation, and fine lines I would use Repairwear. If you did want to use both I would do Repairwear and then the Even Better Moisturizer over it.

Clinique Repairwear Laser Focus is NOT a moisturizer. It is a treatment. Which means it gets applied after cleansing and toning. Then, it is followed by a moisturizer. This is why you are finding that it is not hydrating. Because, it is meant to be used with a moisturizer on top. Hopefully, you will find it more suitable to your needs after using it this way.

When I used this product I found that I was using a light moisturizer in the morning like Boscia and at night I using a hydrating skin creme like Youth Surge from Clinique. I would use any moisturizer after applying this Laser Focus product and letting the product absorb completely.

I don't use one I think this product does a good job of balancing your skin so that you don't need a moisturizer. I live in a humid climate, however, which may make a difference.

Yes, you should use a Moisturizer over the Clinique laser focus. Give it a few minutes to absorb into your skin and then apply your Moisturizer. For daytime wear, I recommend you use a Moisturizer with a SPF of at least 30. This will prevent further sun damage to you skin.

for a night I don't use anything but the corrector 'cause during the night your skin absorbs everything better but when it's the day I use a day cream first then the corrector.

I have a little on my nose area, and it didn't bother it at all. I have actually never had any trouble with any Clinique products as far as that goes...although I didn't feel like this product reduced any lines or wrinkles.

This should be used AFTER the Clinique 3 step routine, but before any additional moisturizer you may use ( like moisture surge). I am a die-hard Clinique user for many years, trust me.. I also asked Clinique customer service ;) just wait a few minutes between each step to allow full absorption.

I was told differently by a Clinique advisor. They said the Repairwear Laser Focus is to be used AFTER Clinique's 3-step system. She specifically said the Repairware serum is to be used after the Dramatically Different Lotion or Gel. (Seems wrong to me too, but that's what she said.) Also according to Clinique, If you are using any of Clinique's other serums (Even Better Dark Spot Corrector or Turnaround Concentrate), use Repairwear Laser Focus after applying those serums. Then follow with sunscreen and any other moisturizers (Youth Surge, etc.) that you might use.

You apply right after you wash your face regardless of am or pm. And then you put your other things on top. If you use toner than you use it after your toner.

No, this product has not made my wrinkles worse nor does it make me break out. I wash my face, then I apply Repairwear Laser Focus to clean and toned skin. I apply it around my eyes, under eyes and on the lids. Let it set and dry. I then apply my day moisturizer. I then apply my under eye cream, primer then makeup. Laser Focus is not a moisturizer and you must use a good one over it according to your skin type. It works beautifully and my skin has never looked better. This product really works quickly and over time even better.

Since I stopped using it and switched to a different product my face is back to normal. (I assume that it dried out my face or some such thing, making the wrinkles I already have more visible.)

No, it can not make your wrinkles worst. You are seeing more wrinkles because you are aging, and as you are getting older, you are more aware of them, do not drive your self nuts, everyone and I mean everyone will get them, and most of us can not afford fillers..

It's frustrating and difficult to estimate when you are running low on this product because the bottle is opaque.

At 4 drops twice a day, i'd say this would last you a little less than a month. I use one drop once a day, and it's lasted me 2 months.
