I read that you shouldn't use it on your bottom lashes. There wasn't an explanation given, however, if it grows your top lashes it should definitely grow your bottom lashes. Just be careful to keep it at the lashline only.

The instructions say to use it on the top and bottom. It made my lashes (top and bottom) longer, but not thicker. I still need mascara, but I can use a cheap brand and not much of it.

I believe so, you're bottom lashes are just as important as your upper lashes. I just wouldnt use it every single night or continue after a certain length.

Question
How long does the tube last?
Just wondering how long this product lasts before you run out. Trying to decide if the dollar value is better than what it appears. If it lasts a long time I might be willing to splurge on it. Thanks!

The product lasts a long time because you use so little of it. My tube lasted me almost 6 months - very cost effective.

I started my first tube mid February and am still using it. I have bought a second tube but haven't needed it yet. I just use enough to cover the lash line on each eye once a day at night.

Question
Cost = results?
WOW! That's a lot of $ for a cosmetic product! Is it really worth it? My lashes need help, but this product seems like it might be more appropriate for those with disposable income? I mean, I could buy it IF it REALLY does what it says, but I would hate to regret such a costly purchase. Does anybody out there swear by it? Thanks, dolls!

I didn't buy this full size product, but about a half-size for much cheaper than half this price. I too, didn't want to spend that much money. [See the last paragraph of my answer for smaller 'test' size product.]

I've been using it for about 3 weeks. My lashes aren't longer, yet, but I believe they are fuller. There are some tiny hairs were they were once sparse (near the corners of my eyes), so it is helping fill out my lash line.

If you want to try out the product (without the high price tag), check out the Sephora Favorites kit: All Eye Need. It has this exact formula in a 0.07 oz size tube (pus many other goodies) for only $35! I'll probably buy another kit, because two of the .07 oz tubes with all the other products is only 0.02 oz less than this one [0.16 oz] which is much more than $70....!

It works for me and I haven't had eyelashes for over 20 years. I quit wearing Mascara because I had nothing to put it on. I have not tried LaTisse and don't want to go the route of going to a doctor's office every month or two to get a product.

Will this help brows?
I am less concerned with my lashes but have been looking for something to thicken my brows. Would this work? Or is there another product I should use?

I use the brows to die for in this same brand & it works quite well. Since this seems to have almost the same ingredients I would say that it would more than likely do quite well for the brows. I know the ingredient that does the growing is labeled at the top on this product where it is more at the bottom on the brows to die for so it may do better but the brows to die for is cheaper.

Question
Safety concern
I would like to ask if this, and the other lash enhancers, are safe to use. I'm not concerned with itching or the dark line that may come above the lash line -- is it safe for your eyes with regard to vision? I've read conflicting reports on the Internet. I've been using Stimulash from Fusion Beauty for a few months and have had spectacular results on both eye lashes and brows, but worry there might be some bad side effects that could effect my vision. Thanks

While I was on Latisse, I had to see my optdoc every other month. Latisse can cause the pressure in your eyeball to be reduced (good for glacoma).
I have been using LTDF for 6 months now and just got the thumbs up from the optdoc...pressure is normal.
If you are concerned that the lash enhancer might have an effect on your eyes....get an eye exam.
After all you only have two of them..healthy eyes and gorgeous lashes go hand in hand.

Question
what is the difference between this and original?
I have been using the original Lashes to Die For since it was released and I want to know what is the difference with the platinum? Does it have more of the active ingredient?

I read in Beautypedia.com that there is 2x the active ingredient in the Platinum formula, and therefore it is supposed to work faster than the original formula. I have only used the Platinum formula.

How does this compare to Latisse?
I've had great success with Latisse (which is around $100). I was wondering how a non-perscription strength last treatment, that is more expensive, could be better?

I haven't used both - but this product does not list as a possible side effect the darkening of the iris of the eye. I found that possible side effect off-putting and decided not to try Latisse. The Lashes to Die for works great - it did for me. I lost my lashes due to a thyroid disorder.

Question
Does this affect eye pigment?
The Latisse commercials warn that the product may increase brown pigment in your eyes, and it may be permanent. I have blue eyes. Is there any warning like that for this product?

Your eye color will not change from blue to brown. I have blue-greenish eyes and mine just got a little darker and it's actually pretty cool, they're more like a deeper blue but not too dark to scare people away. DOn't worry, they will not turn brown.
