It is not waterproof, however, it does not run all over the place when your eyes water a bit. It is water resistant, so don't plan on crying a bucket.

They have a waterproof version of the mascara, but you end up losing on the quality of the mascara for the waterproof feature. I wouldn't recommend it - there are probably better waterproof mascaras.

This mascara does everything Buxom does - Buxom just does more. ;) However, this mascara has Sephora's natural seal and Buxom doesn't. So I suppose you ought to weigh what matters more to you in that regard.

600%? Puh-leeze!!! This sounded like it could be better than our beloved Buxom- but NO WAY! I was all into trying it- but it looked sticky, clumpy, felt dry and was definitely flakey. Don't waste you $$- Buxom rules!! This wil just dissapoint you like it did me.

Buxom is my favorite too. This one with thicken the lashes where as the Buxom adds length. I like to use this one first and Buxom last.

to me, Buxom smeared a lot and this doesn't. i never have dark marks under my eyes after wearing it for a day. when i tried this, i threw the Buxom out because this one delivered the same good results, but lacked the side effect of not being able to make it thru the day without looking like Rocky Racoon.

I absolutely love Buxom, it's wonderful. This, however, doesn't live up. Buxom is creamier and doesn't clump, while this one does. Buxom's brush really allows you to get into lashes, while this doesn't. You can layer Buxom and it holds curl better. Also, better length and volume. I was hoping this would also be a contender, but it sadly isn't. Stick with Buxom.

I don't know if it is hypoallergenic or not, but this mascara was very irritating to my eyes, so I'm guessing not. They say more natural products are less irritating, but this one caused a lot of redness, itching, and soreness almost as soon as I put it on. I can't wear it longer than 15 minutes without getting a headache. I definitely would not recommend it to someone else who has sensitive eyes like I do.

Means that it should not cause an allergic reaction in the majority of people that use it. But if you have super sensitive eyes or any form of allergy I would test it out on your skin before you apply to your eye area.

No. What they did was make a new line separate from Bare Escentuals called Buxom. So go to the "Buxom" section of the brands, scroll down, and it will direct you to the BE Buxom line for the Buxom lipgloss, mascara, the new eye sticks, etc... all things Buxom.

Question
smell?
I just got this, and though it's brand new (well, it's supposed to be), I noticed a strange smell, an odd one...as if it was a few months old. Anyone noticed this with this product?? Is it normal? I know it doesn't contain synthetic fragrance so..maybe it is normal. But I got a sample of this before and never noticed anything. have very sensitive eyes and i'm afraid to use it and get a bad reaction because of that weird smell....
