Question
Do you need another powder on top of this, or will this be fine alone?
Is this to be used as the "finishing" powder for your entire face, or should you use this just on the reddish areas then put another power all over your face?

Use your regular powder, then get a little fan brush and dab some on top of the red area. If you are really big zit red, then use your cleaned finger to dab the yellow powder on. If it is too thick or obviously yellow, then get a fan brush and brush some of the powder off your face, or follow over with your skin colored powder.

I use it for both. Concealer/foundation brush for heavy, spot application and a big foundation brush for overall finishing coverage. I don't use another powder when I put this on - it feels great as the final step of your routine!

just a color corrector i wouldn't use this all over, i think it would kinda defeat the purpose of it to use all over!

I use this powder first on the areas of redness and then use Laura Mercier powder foundation over it. I tried just using the yellow powder alone but found that for me it was not quite enough coverage.

Question
Does this help dark circles under the eyes?
I've been struggling with dark circles under my eyes for my entire life. This looks like it would help, but if not, can anyone reccomend a good Sephora product that would?

Try the Cle de peau or Estee Lauder under eye concealers, which are the best for dark circles. If they are too dry, dab a bit of silicone based primer with it, it will glide on like silk.

It'll lighten whatever you put it on but to get rid of the dark circles you should use a concealer.

try using kat von d tattoo concealer under your eyes and use this to set it, the concealer covers SO well but use a small amount cuz it is thick (thick but drys very light, almost feels like your wearing nothing) and the yellow in this cancels out the purpleness leaving you with bright eyes instead of sleepy eyes! :))

I also have terrible dark circles. I doubt this would help much, but I've found that The Balm's timeBalm concealer combined w/ Benefit's Powderflage on top has worked wonders. Good luck :-)!

Use a brush, like fan brush for large red area, for redder small spot areas, use your clean finger. Then diffuse the yellow with a wisp of the brush.

Question
I wonder if...
This may be a little far fetched but I was wondering if I can use this powder to tone done the pink in my foundations. I don't have natural redness but I find my foundations always look too pink. Has anyone tried this and/or what are your thoughts on this...

It's too expensive to tone down your pink foundation. Look for a foundation that is not pink undertoned. Get either yellow or neatral undertoned foundation.

It sounds to me like you are using the wrong shade of foundation if you have to try to tone down what you are using. Go to Sephora and have a professional color match your foundation.

Question
Any Settling Into Lines?
I'm giving up on pressed powder and am still looking for a non-drying. light coverage loose version. Last loose I tried appeared very 'ashy'. I've stayed with pressed versions for the yellow color- correcting, but they all seem to be too drying for my over-40 combo skin, and settle into even the finest of lines, no matter how light the application. Has anyone noticed similar issues with this? Your advice is appreciated; I really want to try this one!

I agree with the previous answer. I found that it doesn't settle into lines, but I also moisturize, use primer, moisturizing foundation, and a mix of finishing powder (like MUFE HD Micro), and this product.

I'm 43, with combo skin too. I have never had a problem with it settling in badly in a line. But I think the trick is to use a fan brush. Use it gently. Also, you can try adding this with their finishing powder that is clear. If you get a little tray and add some of each, it gets more lighter and diffused. It will make your skin look really nice without settling in a bad way.
