In BE I'm fair but fair is just a tidge too dark for me, esp if it's the "matte" BE instead of the "original" BE (because the matte is darker, more pigmented and not the same shade of "fair" across the boards). Anyways, I tried the vanilla of this concealer and it was way too dark for me. So it might be perfect for you since you can wear fear to light. I would be willing to say it would fit you just right to get the vanilla.

I am also in the fair/light category. This concealer only comes in 3 shades. I chose the lightest shade and it was perfect.

Hi, I don't use MAC, my daughter (blue eyed blonde) uses shade A80 (foundation) and NT30 power and she uses the lightest shade of Too Faced concealer. I'm more medium/light (winter skin color) and use the med shade which is still a tad bit light for me. If you can go into a store, test the sample. If not, remember, the light is very light (for the fair/light skin). You can always mix a tad with your foundation to get a better match. Remember, it is super concentrated and a pin head goes a long way! Hope this helps you!!

You will definitely be the nude color in this! Thats what I am! Its better to go lighter then darker so your face wont be cakey or appeal to be different tones. If you feel like the nude is to light, buy some bronzer and apply over your concealer before your powder!

I use the vanilla shade, which is the palest option. It's not a true porcelain, instead it's maybe one or two shades darker (or yellower), so if you have pale/light skin with yellow undertones it should be a good match.

Yes! I had the same exact problem and no other concealer did the job for me. This concealer is absolutely amazing. I use it for blemishes and under eye circles, and it works wonderfully. I typically break out and have dark under eye circles too, so I'm not just saying that. You won't be disappointed, I promise! :)

I use the product for both undereye coverage and acne coverage. The thin consistency makes it great blending away larger areas of discoloration (such as dark circles). It makes it hard though to concentrate the coverage on a small area such as a pimple, so I usually layer it with a thicker concealer such as a stick-type concealer.

Most makeup artists would probably say yes, you should always wear a primer. I never wear primers though, they don't work on me. It's good to help stuff stay in place and not slip n slide all over your face. So if you want to forgo the primer like I do, you can apply a finishing spray to set your makeup that should help, as well as a powder over the top. This particular concealer is very creamy so it's moisturizing in and of itself, not needing a primer if you ask me.

Not necessarily, the product has great coverage on it's own, but adding a powder on top will help to "set" the product and produce longer lasting results.

A primer should be used under foundation and concealers because it makes products blend so smoothly, especially over creases.

When I was yoinger I didn't use a a primer as they really weren't out there. Now that I'm 40 and was a sun worshiper, I started using a primer. I highly recommend using a primer for several reasons, it helps your foundation stay on longer, minimizes pores big time, and nourishes skin. I feel using a primer helps me look younger, I use a primer for eyes as well, makes eyeshadows glide on and not make the colors look harsh or eyes older. And the eye primers prevent eyeshadows from creasing especially if you have oily skin. There are even waterproof primers so that you can enjoy water sports/activities and humidity. As for choice it's all up to individual taste. I discovered Sephora while in Las Vegas and I have not returned anything yet. I am a repeat customer.!Also try to stay with same product line (not always easy). Great ADVANTAGE TO SHOPPING @ Sephora is you can go to the store and try the products and get what' works for you!!! They have very helpful ,knowledgeable employees with no pressure to buy!! Yes, love the primers!!!!!

Question
Good For Eye Primer?
I used to use and LOVE TF 'Absolutely Flawless Therapeutic Herbal Eye Base'- it was the most perfect, creamy but not-too-oily shadow base with great shades (I used St. Tropez Tan). I was crushed when it was discontinued! Does anyone recommend this concealer for 'priming' under powder before shadow application, or would it be too drying? Thank you.

i've tried using this as a primer before, and it did make my colors seem more smooth and more nicer, it didn't really help at all with making it lost longer, so i don't really recommend it as a primer.

This seemed to work better than a primer to me. I use it all the way around my eyes not just underneath and it seemed to make my shadow last longer and does not appear to be the least bit drying to me & I have dry skin.

I wouldn't use this as an eyeshadow primer strictly because I find it gets very sticky. I have used Lancome's eyeshadow primer and Too Faced Shadow Insurance and find they both worked well, however their consistency is very different from this concealer.

I use that same powder foundation and I will put this all the way around my eyes and in the hollows of my eyes next to my nose. I blend this really good, set it with a very fine finishing powder like mineral veil and then finish my face with the powder foundation. I have fine wrinkles around my eyes (46 yrs old) so I find if I use too much powder it accents the lines more than I like. If you are younger putting the powder foundation over it should be fine but let it set good otherwise it would probably get a tad cakey. BTW I am a Golden Beige in the BE foundation if that helps any. Good Luck!

I don't love this concealer for even light blemishes, and definitely not for under eye circles. For dark circles, I haven't found anything better than Clinique All About Eyes concealer. It has a yellow tint to it to correct as well as cover.

I have "problem" skin myself, and I would not recommend this product to anyone else with oily skin either. It seemed much too oily to me and certainly didn't help my skin out. I don't know if it does in fact have an oil in it that is proven to aggravate acne-prone skin, but it certainly seemed to for me.

I am probably the same complected as you and I ended up having to use the Honey color. I know it seems dark on the screen but it was the only one that had enough gold in it to match my skin tone and it actually blended well with my funky tones and covered my really dark circles. There is no red in this product at all. Hope this helps some.

Question
Absolutely Flawless color change
I have used the Absolutely Flawless concealer as an under-eye concealer for years. I've noticed the package changed - it used to be in a flat pot. I also used the color name "london light" which no longer exists. Has anyone else switched from this color, and if is, what color did you switch to?
