answer 1
The gold eyeshadow is wearable anywhere. It is not over the top and yet gives a beautiful sparkle to the eyelid and giving your eyes a nice twinkle. You can wear this at night or during the day at work. It looks pretty anywhere :) I highly recommend it

The eyeshadow really isn't a striking gold. It is more of a champagne color. You can pair it with another color and blend. It makes a great base color.

Like others have said, this is not a true gold shadow but more of a light golden shimmer. I have light skin and prefer to wear a natural eye look and this really works for me. I use the BE brush to apply this and with the BE expresso liner and mascara, I have been able to wear this at work. Its more shimmery than gold but you can also layer it for a more golden look. Its not garish at all. I liked this eyecolor - and everything else in this collection - so much that I bought another one!

The name of the color is misleading. I thought it would be really golden, like True Gold or Trophy Wife. I was so in love with this color from the moment I tried it. The shade is more ivory/beige than golden.

Yes, the eyeshadow is shiny, but it's sooo pretty. I use just a little tiny bit in the inside corner of my eyes for daytime, and it really brightens them up. For a night out on the town, you can apply this all over the lid and add brown shadow in the crease for a really glam look. Or just a little on the brow bone for some lift. Try it, you won't be disappointed!

I am not a fan of glitter, but I was pleasantly surprised by the depth of light that this shadow brought to my eyes. I think it worked by using it with a dark brown upper lid eye liner. Hope this is helpful!

Its definitely not for use at work unless you work in a seriously funky office. But at night or for special occasion this is a great shadow. Use it dry to give a gold gleam as a shadow or highlighter on lids. Or be more daring and use a damp brush and apply it moist and you can create a foiled look which is a very stunning look. I would suggest using an eyeshadow primer first to create a nice base and help the color to adhere. I hope this helps. Even if you rarely use the shadow the set it a very good buy for the money.

I use all of BM products so I feel I look very natural when I wear it --that's why I love the metal color. It's goes on this beautiful gold shimmer that looks great by itself. When I'm going out I use some brown shadow I'm my crease. My sister uses it with some purple that was adorable too!

This is such an awesome kit. Considering that a full priced eyeshadow and eye primer well covers the cost, everything else is a given.
The color is a very pale beige gold with lots of shimmer. You should check the BE page on FB so you can see the color closely. I think its great as an all over color /brighten up the inside tear-ducts and brow-bone

it's BEAUTIFUL over the whole lid, and not as bright and/or garish as "gold" would imply. It's shimmery, yes, but it's subtle if it's just dusted over the lids (i've also used it wet for more drama), looks great with just mascara on a summer day! :o)
