Dior is in it’s on league. I tried Lancome for about 3 weeks and didn’t care for it...I used Dior one time and noticed a difference immediately. My mascara applied smoothly and my lashes were softer at the end of the day instead of crusty and flaky. LOVE Dior

I have been loyal to Cils booster for a long time and also, more recently, the Oscillation Cils booster primer

This Dior product is far superior to Lancome. The application is far more sheer, does not clump, and seperates my lashes better.

Does it hold a curl?
I have straight eyelashes so i have to curl them with an eyelash curler. My question is does the primer hold the curl or make the eyelash go limp?

Yes, it does. I no longer curl my lashes because it makes my naturally straight lashes curl up and frame my eyes. Before, I used an eyelash curler every day and hated it because I could see that I lost lashes each time. I do take time and carefully apply the product, pulling my lashes upward. I love it.

I bought this when it first came out and returned it because my eyelashes would droop terribly after a few minutes. But I recently bought it again in the sample size to try it again. I know how to apply it now and my lashes curl straight up! (I have long, thin, straight Asian lashes.) What I do is curl them with a lash curler, then apply Maximizer and hold them in a curled position until they're dry (about a few seconds). Then when I put mascara on, I have lashes to the ceiling that last all day!

I curl my lashes before putting the primer and I would have to say it holds the curl. Curl your lashes, put a coat or two on of the primer. Wait a minute to let it dry just a bit so it dosent come off with your mascara. then put your mascara on, you only need one or two coats and it will look wayyy longer and way thicker.

Question
Could it be worn by itself?
I usually don't wear mascara except for special occasions, and I'm looking for something that enhances my eyelashes and make them longer. Would it be alright if I wear this during the day WITHOUT mascara? Or would the eyelashes stay white if worn by itself? Thanks in advance.

answer 2
This product is not made to be used alone for day, as others have mentioned you'll end up with white lashes. You can, however, wear this alone overnight as a treatment. If you are looking for something to boost your lashes for day with out a heavy look of mascara, you may want to try Lash Injection in Hot Chocolate. This will add thickness and length and the brown will show more natural than the black. If you don't want to wear mascara at all, a simple pressing with a good lash curler (such as Shu Umera) will make a big difference in the look of naked lashes.

I don't think you can wear it by itself becasue it leaves a bit of a white-ness to your lashes (which is covered up with black/brown muscara), but alone, I think it might look strange.

I have actually done this, and although you can faintly see something if you get really close, it is actually fine to wear this by itself if you just want to get them looking like they are naturally longer, and don't want to wear mascara.
I opted to wear mascara because my lashes look HUGE when I put this on first, but it is wearable alone.

I wouldn't wear this alone if to go out, since it is white like the color shown in the pictures of it.
However, it will give you huge lashes if you put it on, let it dry, and then add your mascara.
I have not experienced any irritation to my eyes from using this primer, either. You don't need very much.

I use the Dior Show, too, and I haven't had any problem with flaking. In fact, I use the primer with all my mascara, and I haven't had any problem with flaking or smudging, you know, getting those 'raccoon' eyes. The primer seems to work just like a primer on a wall, holding onto your paint and even drying it faster. That is my experience.

No, actuacly it looks more natural when mascara applied right after it. After a long term of use, it gets drier, so you get more product on. So you get more dramatic look. I guess the same effect will be once you whait till it dry before applying mascara on.

I would suggest trying it, but only do a quick sweep on your lashes. I have similar lashes to yours and if I do more than one run through they get super extreme fake looking (sometimes a look I want, but not for a daily look). It conditions extremely well so I would suggest it for that. With Sephora's great return policy you could always try it out and return it if it doesn't work out. It takes a little use to get the correct handle on applying it so give it time.

I definitely recommend this product to everyone. Sephora recommended it to me and I am addicted to it. It really helps mascara stay on longer and it really helps to define lashes. This product is easy to regulate and if you have really full lashes already, you don't need to cake it on- not that anyone should "cake it on" anyways. A little goes a long way! I forgot to use it the other day and was surprised at how much of a difference it makes in my eyes. I say try this product- it is definitely a must-have in my makeup routine now.

I apply mascara immediately after applying this product. To cover the white and prevent clumping, make sure you wipe off all excess mascara from the tip of the wand on the edge of the tube. Then, swipe the mascara on your lashes like you normally do, and use the very tip to dab at any white spots that may still be left. If there is any clumping at this point, just poke it with the tip of your finger. If at that point there is still a little clumping on the ends but there usually is not, just pinch the ends of your lashes lightly with your thumb and forefinger. Hope this was helpful!
