Questions & Answers for First Aid Beauty Body Moisturizer

Question
How does this compare to the Ultra Repair Cream?
Have anyone tried this and the Ultra Repair Cream? I've been using that as a body moisturizer, but am not loving the price. Would this be a suitable, cheaper alternative for very dry skin?

This is an amazing product and the price is right! It is easy to dispense so that you are not wasting it, it is lightweight and it really works and leaves your skin feeling hydrated all day long! I highly recommend this product and I suggest you get to Sephora as soon as possible because I am ready to go and get more and there might not be any left! LOL

I recommend that you try the Body Moisturizer, too. It is a little lighter and a little goes a long way. You can use the Ultra repair Cream on your face and any body parts that need a little more TLC.

This is an everyday body moisturizer for all skins but the very driest. It is light and silky, yet super nourishing. If you feel that Ultra Repair Cream is too rich for whole body use, this is a perfect alternative. Many clients use both -- the body moisturizer all over and the Ultra Repair cream on specifically parched areas (elbows, knees, heels, etc.)

I prefer the Ultra Repair Cream for my face and extremely dry patches of skin because it feels really rich but soaks up quickly and doesn't leave skin oily. This is great for a general body moisturizer. Combat those free radicals and give your skin a dose of antioxidants! This is definitely not as rich as the Ultra Repair Cream but it moisturizes very well. Ultra Repair Cream smells very, very faintly of something fresh like baby powder (or something similar). The Body Moisturizer is supposed to be fragrance free but I personally smell a little something there that I can't put my finger on..

I like both. Actually, the body wash and the Ultra Repair Creme are the only two FAB products I've used. I have very sensitive skin and neither cause a rash. Amazing.

It depends. I use this as a daily all-over moisturizer and I LOVE it---- it makes my arms and legs feel like silk, and it's absorbed in an instant. However, I still sometimes find that I need the repair cream for "trouble spots" like heels, elbows, etc.

Question
Dimethicone???
Now I haven't tried the product although the rating is high, but if i remember right... Isn't dimethicone the same thing that was found to cause memory loss or orther problems in shampoos?

This is an amazing product and I have been using it for several months and I have NOT seen any indication of memory loss at all! For what this product does, it is worth it to forget to bring in the newspaper! Give it a try, you won't be disappointed and if you are, Sephora will gladly take it back and refund you your money. That is why I love shopping there because they stand behind their products and want to make sure that customers are satisfied!

Dimethicone has tremendous safety data behind its inertness and wide use is cosmetic products, but we really admire your ingredient vigilance. Dimethicone achieves a low hazard rating on the Environmental Working Group's toxicity scale. FAB uses this important, independent database to ensure that all of our ingredients have been rigorously tested and found to be safe in the quantities allowed. New data becomes available everyday and at FAB we are committed to staying up-to-date with emerging safety findings.
