apply on damp skin?
The directions don't specify on whether the mask should be applied onto dry or damp skin. With previous masks I've always applied onto damp skin so that's what I'll do for tonight. However, I was wondering if that's what you do as well?

Apply to a dry but freshly cleansed face. The product will stay moist the whole time it is on. Rinse face well after 10 minutes.

I've used this only 4 times, but my skin was mostly dry when I applied it. I usually applied right after cleansing so my face was freshly clean. :-)

My son uses this mask on clean, dry skin. Typically masks are used on either damp or dry skin depending on the ingredients in the mask and what the mask is intended for.

because of the consistency of the mask, i apply it with dry hands to a dry face. it seems to slide around and not sink in on a wet face.

I use it after I cleanse my face, but pat it dry, so I guess I would say I use it on dry skin. This is a different kind of mask - it doesn't dry or harden. It actually seems to liquify as it works. It's amazing.

will this make dry skin even dryer
I have acne prone skin that is dry. I know, don't be jealous. Will this dry out my skin even more? I think that drying my skin out only irritates my acne more.

I have sensitive skin and I have been using this product for 4 months now and it has never had a drying effect on my skin. I do use it only 1x per week.

This mask did not dry out my skin... it also didn't really work for me but it did not increase dryness.
Try the REN night cream. It feels heavy when it goes on but it hasn't caused any breakouts and my skin has improved a lot since I started using it.

I don't have dry skin, but my skin is not especially oily, and I've had no flaking problems with this mask. That has been my reaction in the past to acne masks that have a drying effect. I've been very pleased with this one.

I have sensitive combination skin which is oily in the T-zone and dry everywhere else. Sometimes, when I'm really lucky, my skin will be both peeling/irritated AND oily. Many masks, especially clay masks, dry my skin out a lot but this one didn't at all.

Denatured alcohol listed as an ingredient!
I noticed that Alcohol Denat. (aka denatured alcohol) is listed pretty high up in the ingredients list. It's a known skin bad guy. Have people experienced irritation with this product?

If you call breaking out all over your face irritation, then yes, I experienced irritation. Not sure if it was the ingredient you reference, or something else in the product though.

I certainly haven't. But I haven't been using it for very long. It does say to use only twice a week and leave on for 15mins and maybe that's why. If I do experience any drying or irritation I will certainly let you know!

I have sensitive skin and I have been using this product for 4 months without any irritation. I only use it 1x a week, since it is pretty pricey, and it works well for me.

It didn't work for me. The product line that helped my cystic acne is Kate Somerville's 9 kit. I just started using this with my Clarisonic and it is great!!!! I have never seen my skin be this good, I finally have a healthy glow!

It has worked for the cystic acne I was getting on my chin and cheeks. Since beginning use of this mask, 4 months ago, I have not had an outbreak. I saw almost instant results.

What it looks like?
I got a sample of what I think is supposed to be this product and just want to make sure the sephora associate wrote down the right product label.. Is it an off white color that sort of looks like a moisturizer and feels like a creamy moisturizer when you put it on? Just want to make sure I know exactly what Im putting on my face!

AFTER! You should use this product like a serum. Apply it to clean skin and let it dry then apply your moisturizer over top.
