I'm not sure if it actually has alcohol in it. There is no alcohol scent that most other hand sanitizers have. It does have a strong perfume scent so be warned if you have sensitive skin.

Wow, I was thinking of filling it up with more hand sanitizer once it ran out (which was pretty fast, btw) but perfume is a great idea also! So to answer you ? yes, the top can be removed and refilled.
