I have oily skin and I'm 23, and this cream didn't do anything for my skin that a drug store moisturizer couldn't do.

This is very rich. You might want the formula for combination skin given that your face isn't always dry. You don't want to spend $$ and end up breaking out.

For heavy lifting I use LaMer creme, DeCleor face oils and Retin A. Otherwise I use Clarins products. I like the Vital Lite to make my face more evened toned and it becomes brighter and younger looking although I have used the red bottled and gold bottled Clarins I like the Vita Lite better.

It really depends upon your skin and what your individual needs are. Right now I'm using the Multi-Active Night cream and although I love many things about this cream, it does not help as much with fine lines as I would like, nor does it help firm or lift my skin. This cream wasn't designed to firm or lift (as far as I can tell), so it's not a judgment really. When I was your age, I would have been very happy with this cream. Now I'm 52, so next time I will buy the Extra-Firming Night cream to go along with its' day counterpart that I've been very happy with for my skin.

Clarins Multi-Active Youth Recovery cream is an excellent night cream. I'm 51 and it's the best I've ever tried. You will wake up with super soft and smooth skin! I think it has helped to even-out my skintone, too.

I heard the cruelty-free thing too, but don't remember where. It would definitely make me purchase again if that is so.
