Question
Too Faced Naked Eye or UD Naked???
I am giving up on finding an UD Naked palette and am considering purchasing the Too Faced Naked Eye palette. I do not care for a lot of shimmer - I have read the UD one is "warmer" tones and the Too Faced is "cooler" tones. I have never tried anything in the Too Faced line - your thoughts would be appreciated! Thanks!

UD shadows do not have parabens, so UD.

It totally depends on the look you are going for, but i've been hunting for ud naked for like a year and just ordered it from ud.com, i would say naked because it has more colors with different finishes (and im a brown shadow girl) but i use this palette for the days i dont want to do my eyes up; you still have somethng on and they look good without having it be too much or when you are layin around the house...the colors of both are very flattering to all skin tones too.

I prefer this one over the UD naked. The UD pallet has a lot of colors I had in other pallets from UD and they were colors I didn't use. Most of the left side of the UD one was a bit dark for my tastes. I am very fair and blonde. The Too Facednaked colors are much nicer than they look online, they have a lot of depth and are not too much on the cool side. Satin sheets, unmentionables, and lap dance are my favorites

This is more cooler toned than the urban decay naked palette, however if you get the Too Faced Natural Eye Palette instead of the Too Faced Naked Eye, it is more warm toned like the UD palette. I honestly like the Too Faced palette better than the Urban Decay because TF seems to have a more buttery texture to me than the UD. Don't get me wrong, the Urban Decay is great too, but I just lean more towards Too Faced. But yeah, I think the Natural Eye palette would have some closer dupes than this one. If you want more cooler tones, though, go with this one over the natural eye.

I don't find the colors to be too cool at all. This product is a great purchase, I have to reccommend that you take the plunge. You won't regret it.

Your problem is exactly why I bought Two Faced. I wished it had more colors too but I gave up and really think that they go well with my complexion. I'm fair and blond.

There are two colors that have some shimmer to them, but if you don't add alot of those colors then you won't have that shimmery look. There are these neat helper cards with the set, with pictures of where each color goes, and the shimmer is added as a highlight- not the main color. This is a good neutral-eye set.

i have always loved too faced cosmetics, they are highly pigmented , when you go to order, look for if the shadows are matte or shimmery, most sets have a mix of both

I, like many others, have been waiting to get a Urban Decay Naked Palette, but decided to pick up the Too Faced Naked Palette in the mean time. If you do not care too much for shimmer, then this palette is amazing. It is definitely cooler than the UD naked Palette, containing more grays and taupes than bronzes and browns, which I did not think would work for me since I have warm undertones. All in all, I love this palette, and I am not at all disappointed. It has some beautiful colors that have amazing payoff. I am still curious to try the UD palette, but am happy with this in the meantime.

I too love Urban Decay and I'm sure you will love this set. I found these colors to be very practical. You can wear them during the day and add a bit more of the darker shades at night. I've received many compliments since I've been wearing these colors.

I found the UD Naked Palette at an Ulta. Couldn't believe it, I've been waiting for Sephora to restock. I snatched it up! It's a great palette. Sorry I can't help with the Two Faced.

I own both and I think they are both very different palettes dispite both having "Naked" in them. This palette is fantastic and good value and what I like is that you can create a variety of looks for both day or night and there's a nice variety of colors. Its hard for me to decide between the two, but I would check this one out. But the two are not very similar.

A couple of the shades are shiny, some are a soft shimmer and the rest are matte, pretty much as described above. Unmentionables and Lap Dance are shiny.

The quality of Too Faced products is top notch! The shadows glide on and last all day. And, if you're not looking for shimmer, or are specifically avoiding it, I think you'd be very pleased with this product -- the colors are neutral and light, but also pigmented, and the shimmers are not glittery or metallic looking. The colors in this palette are easy to wear, and the looks you can create with them range from a conservative to modestly stunning. (Whereas I'd describe the looks you can create with the UD palette as bold, striking, and with the exception of the three lightest colors, anything but modest.)
