Question

How does this help with underye dark circles?

I have not found anything that helps. My circles are hereditary and so far everything I have used hasn't made a difference. I am interested in the Murad Light and Bright eye cream, but some of the reviews made me skeptical that would work also. Help!!!

I don't use this under my eyes. I have circles too. Mine are also hereditary. I just smile more. A bunch of concealer or 'stuff' just makes it worse. I use this along the outer edge from brow to end of lower lashes for a touch of brightness and lift. It's the final thing after all of my other makeup is on. It has a slight tightening effect if you use it like that.

I didn't find that this product helps with dark circles, but if you're looking for something to help with that, I would recommend an eye roller.

My circles are hereditary also; I've had them my whole life. I've yet to find a treatment that alleviates them and I've tried many. For me, it's all about concealer. I really like Laura Mercier and Benefit's Erase Paste works well for the inner corners of eyes where my shadows are darkest.

I have the same problem - puffy bags with a hallow on the edges. The best thing I have tried that helped is the Clairsonic Opal. This product is great to put under concealor that adds brightness and a smooth base. I also switched to one shade darker on my concealor and that has helped a lot - light was not better!

I just posted a rewview of the Eye Lift Illuminator. My circles are not significant, but I have noticed a definite brightening (without irritation to the sensitive skin around my eyes) now that I've been using it for several weeks.

WHILE HEREDITARY UNDER-EYE CIRCLES ARE PRETTY MUCH HERE TO STAY,YOU CAN USE PRODUCTS SUCH AS THIS TO LESSEN THE LOOK OF THEM AND HIDE THE BLUE COLORATION OF THEM WITH A CREAM WITH A VIOLET TINT SUCH AS THIS FORMULATION.

After. I put it on last, even AFTER my eye makeup. I do it along the edges of my eyes from end of eyebrow to the edge of my lashes. It brightens and has a slight lifting effect if you don't put anything liquid on top of it.

We recommend applying the illuminator as you would an eye cream. For first use, twist pen several times until product is dispensed and pat gently beneath the eye. We hope that helps!

How long does this last?

I use it almost every day (sometimes I forget) and it's lasted me well over 2 1/2 - 3 months. Don't over use it. To me it is an after product. It adds brightness and even has a slight tightening effect if you don't put anything liquid on top of it. That's why I use it last.

I use it as an addition to my makeup/beauty regimen. I put it on last after everything else is on. I use several moisturizers, makeup, and then after I've done everything else, I dot it along the outside (crows feet area) from eyebrow to edge of my lower lashes. A little goes a long way. Just dot it on lightly and don't rub. It works and even has a bit of lift power if you don't put anything on top of it. It surely works for me.
