All of your face needs the moisture and it improves the overall appearance of skin, as far as being more even it will help with that but also a good sephora expoliant brush can help too. they are like five bucks and sloffing off the old cells and then hydrating the new ones will really help to give you that even glow :) plus lots of water to drink. keeping the skin hydrated from both sides :D

answer 3
This is meant for the whole face, as it combines the functions of antioxidant, anti-wrinkle product, sunscreen, and moisturizer, as well as evening skin tone. It wouldn't make much sense just to put it on dark spots, because then you would have to apply anti-wrinkle, antioxidant, sunscreen, and moisturizing products to the rest of your face. The idea of this product is to simplify one's routine, not make it more complicated.

answer 5
The 5 in 1 Face Cream w/ SPF 30 is meant to protect your face from harsh ultraviolet exposure, while nourishing and hydrating the whole day through. Using the 5 in 1 on the entire face will enable you to lighten dark spots while leaving even-toned skin unaffected. Can you just place it on portions of your face with uneven skin? Sure, but you’d be missing out on full face benefits of antioxidant power and photoprotection!

Its a face cream, and your whole face would improve if you used it all over your face. i even use it on my neck, and all I need is 1 pump per usage with my neck included. So if you just want to use it on your face, pump lightly

oily skin tends to happen because the body is trying to compisate for the oil being lost. I would give this lotion a try but also try using a less abrasive cleanser. or even just and expoliant brush on your skin with a little lite cleanser when it gets really oily. Also a good idea would be try the sephora blot sheets. they are super cheap and through the day if you just run one over your face that will help to keep the right amount of oil on your face. so it doesn't dry out too much and over produce oil to cause breakouts. also oily skin can be an allergic reaction to some shampoos that are drying your scalp and face out, you could always try something like Wen. its a natural super healthy shampoo and see if that changes your skin.

FAB 5-in-1 Face Cream was formulated as a daily moisturizer and sunscreen for clients with all skin types, dry and oily alike. It gives a bit more hydration in dry flaky skin types and backs off a bit if your skin tone is more oily in nature. It will certainly not worsen your oily skin.

I, too, have oily skin (they say it is normal, but I disagree). I was surprised to find that this moisturizer is helping with that -- although it feels a bit creamy when applied. My skin is clearer, and I have fewer blemishes/pores with this. I didn't expect to like this as much as I do. I use it during the day, and I am very pleased with the results (I was just looking for something lightweight for the summer). I will use this all-year if I can for daytime use, as I am so pleased with how my skin seems to like it!

I, too, dislike heavy products that make my skin feel like it is suffocating. I have found this to be rich but not heavy, and does not make my skin sweaty. The lotion comes out of a pump bottle, so you can control how much you apply and you should be able to use it in a way that best suits your skin and personal preferances.

No- this is not thick and heavy. It's lightweight, yet super moisturizing- pretty amazing! Everyone's skin likes something different, but I wouldn't hesitate to try this. It really is a superior product- and this is coming from someone who has tried more natural sunscreens than you could ever imagine. I thought I had already found the perfect one, but this very well may take it's place.

Question
Noncomedogenic? Oil-free?
I'd love to try this face cream for my drying, flaky fair skin (excited about that spf 30!) but I'm on Accutane and am supposed to use oil-free, noncomedogenic moisturizers. I've tried all those variants at the drugstore (Cetaphil, Neutrogena, Aveeno, etc. etc.) but they make my skin itchy or don't sink in properly.

Anyway, I'd love to know about this one! Thanks! =)

I don't think this product will suit for your skin type because your a bit on the dry side. Im only dry on my cheeks and chin and when I used this product on my face, you can notice the flacky residue. Does not look nice! You should try the DDF ultra moisturzing dew spf 15. Its lightweight, good for dry skin, and most importantly it's Non-comedogenic! No reason to not try it out right?!

Hi, I did the Accutane thing and use Cetaphil and that did not irritate my skin.
All I can say is that I am still prone to break outs (I'm 50 now) and have very sensitive skin and this has never caused a problem for me. And just about everything does! I still use Retin A at night and a lot of sunscreens will sting me because of the irritation of Retin A, but this one does not, so I am very happy with it.
I hope all goes well for you!

Octinoxate is a chemical and possibly harmful sunscreen and is in many products that claim to be "natural".... Titanium Dioxide and Zinc Oxide are safe sunblockers...I might suggest Juice Beauty Green Apple Moisturizer, although it only has an SPF of 15. Boscia Sheer Tinted Moisturizer is also a good safe product, but again with an SPF of 15...Beware also "Parsol 1789 (Avobenzone" as another possible harmful sunscreen that many "natural" products contain. You can easily Google these chemicals for further info....

The sunscreens are a blend of physical and chemical blockers. Zinc Oxide is the only physical blocker that is used.

answer 5
Chemical sunblocks work by absorbing the energy of UV radiation before it affects your skin. Physical sunblocks reflect or scatter UV radiation before it reaches your skin. The 5 in 1 Face Cream SPF 30 combines both chemical and physical sunblocks. Octinoxate & Octocrylene are both chemical sunbocks while Zinc Oxide is a physical sunblock.

If you're looking for a sunscreen that contains only physical sunblock, please call 1-877-SEPHORA or email your request to customerservice@sephora.com.

Yes. The term “oil free” refers to the use of mineral oil and heavier vegetable oils in a product. F.A.B. products never contain mineral oil and our botanical extracts are very highly refined so that they do not clog the pores.

I actually don't know if it is oil free. but I've used it and i had a ton of acne problems and turns out most of my acne was from allergys after changing to sulfate free shampoo and body wash and getting rid of face wash, i found out that a good lotion that is free of alot of those irritants that cause skin to flare works better then worrying about it being oil free. Some times we do too much to our skin and it just needs a break.

The 5 in 1 SPF 30 is a very silky, lotion texture that is the perfect primer for make up. Anytime you have a sunscreen in a product, you will find that it may take a bit longer to “soak in”. However, given the ingredients and technology in the FAB 5 in 1 SPF 30, you have one product that does everything you need in one step; perfect for someone who doesn’t want to spend a lot of time in the morning.

Just wondering what the scent of this product is like? I'm fairly sensitive to strong smells & it can take me forever to get used to something new. (sad, but true - I still use Finesse hairspray at 42 'cause I couldn't get used to anything new since my teens!)
Specifically, does this smell very SPF'y? Hopefully you know what I mean.

I don't think it has any scent. This FAB line is made for sensitive skin, and it's free of scent, and other chemicals. But like Clinique, you may smell the non-scent kind of smell. Personally, I can't really smell anything, especially not the SPF smell. Very moisturizing, great for sensitive skin. I LOVE THIS STUFF!!!! I use SPF every day, and this was the only one I actually liked that was a moisturizer and a SPF.
