I wore mine without a primer on my eye and it creased. I have oily lids. I then discovered if I wear it more sheer it won't crease even if I don't use a primer. For the sake of it I wear one just to be sure.

Half of the shades can be used for lips and cheeks, and the other half can be used for eyes and cheeks. I purchased 13 which can be used as an all over lid color, and a highlight at the top of your cheekbones. I also have 16 which is great for a smokey eye base, and light contouring.

I think you can use the darked colors as an eyeliner as well as a eyeshadow. Pinky colors can also be used as a blush and bronze and browns can be used to create cheekbones.

Nahh, only use powder to set if you layer a different product on top, like the Aqua Black. It will stay put through the water.

Instead of powder, try a base. My fave is by Benefit- "Stay Don't Stray." It is amazing as a shadow base. The best I have ever used times 1000.

I don't think powder is necessary. The cream is pretty dry and even though it spreads and blends well, once it's on I don't think it is going to wear off without rubbing or washing your face.

Nope. I wear it while playing sports, and not only does it not run but it doesn't move much unless you touch it with pressure. I'd say it's water proof because it does take ome soap and wiping to come off completely.

No need to set with powder, as long as you're blending them out with a brush or your finger, they should feel dry to the touch after a few seconds.

its not recommended due to the dyes like red to use on the eye area but test a small area first to see if you have a reaction. I know people that use those colors on the eyes and have been fine. But, that doesn't mean it will be fine for you. Try at your own risk.

I'm sure you can but it most likely depends on how sensitive your skin is. I doubt Sephora would say 'yes' to that question, though, as they state that they were not formulated for that, and may be too harsh for such sensitive skin. Check the ingredients against what you know you're sensitive to. I personally would not do it, my skin would get a burning sensation.

Shade #13 is the BEST for most skin tones as an eyeshadow primer. Better than Urban Decay Sin, and lasts wayyy longer. Use fingers to apply. Very dark skintones should try the dark brown shade for a natural-but-better primer.

2 is a darker gunmetal silver, and 3 is a very true silver (think of the color of silver jewelry). If you want a silver based smokey eye, either would work depending on what color you want to go for. If you want something more natural go with 13. 15 would also offer a beautiful base for a smokey brown eye, or even something more natural.

I would recommend #2! I own it, and it is very wearable. #3 is a very bright silver and not as flattering. I think that #2 would compliment a dress with silver in it very nicely, and you'll probably be able to use it more after your dance than you would #3.

I just thought of an amazing idea for you and your silver prom dress. There is a color #1 which is called Anthracite, it's actually a mineral that is black, but light and has ground up silver in it. Wearing silver make-up with your beautiful dress might take away the beauty of your dress and your eyes, so why not try some sparkley silver black and some nice champagne eye shadow. I don't know what color your eyes are or your skin tone, but your eyes and dress would really stand out stunning. Could I also suggest some Pure Sparklicity from Tarina Tarantino? It's amazing glitter that goes on like fairy dust. You would be the Diva of the party!!! Silver dress, Anthracite silver black liner and fairy dust. Oh, and lots and lots of Bad Gal Lash!!! I hope I've helped you, beauty Sister!!!

how do these compare to MAC paint pots?

I use both the MAC Paint Pots, and the Make UP Forever Aqua Cream, and I like both equally well. I think the difference is, the Paint Pots in some ways are better used as just a base, whereas the Aqua Cream is great all by itself. Sometimes I use the Paint Pot as a base for the Aqua Cream, to give it even more staying power. But I really think that Make Up Forever's product is better for an eyeshadow than the MAC Paint Pots are. More vibrant colors.

It depends on what you are using them for. You can use these as lip and cheek or eye and cheek products, while I've never heard of people using Paint Pots on lips and cheeks. On me, Aqua Creams stay better and last longer. The only thing is that none of the aqua creams are matte, so if that's important to you, it's not the right product for you.

I've used both, and I think these are bolder and more opaque. They seem to last a bit longer and you can use them as a base - but you may not need to put anything else over the Aqua Creams. With the Paint Pots, I always felt as if I had to put something over them. I can wear #2 as a smoky pewter eye, blending upwards with a touch of the HD Concealer at my brow arch.

MAC paint pots are not waterproof, the Aqua Creams are.
They also (from what i've found) are more pigmented and have a better colour payoff without having to use a lot of product.
The Aqua Creams are also less emollient, which is due to the fact that they are a waterproof formula.

I love paint pots and use them often... these are very similar. The paint pots are more creamy in texture where as these start off more dry so you don't have a lot of time to blend if you are going to do so. The other nice thing about these is you can use them as blush or lip color. Most of the paint pot shades are only meant for eyes. Also these have a larger shade range. Besides those things, they are pretty comparable.

Question
Color Suggestion with #18
I have very fair skin, blond hair, green eyes. I want to wear color #18 to the beach this summer. Right now I wear Too Faced Magic Mushroom (neutral pink shimmer) on my lid and brow-bone, and Too Faced Violet Femme in the crease. I've tested the color #18 on my wrist and it appears very light, so can anyone suggest a very soft pink to wear on my lid and brow bone that won't over-power #18?

I got out my #18 and put it right on my inner thumb, and then I put #15 right next to each other, and they look they were born to wear together! I think #15 is Pink Beige, but it looks so beautiful with the Purple. I love, love, love the Purple, I wear it heavier on my eyelid so it almost looks like a lower lid eye shadow. Try it! I hope this helps you, but I thought those colors were meant for each other!!!

The eyeshadow pallet by Smashbox called "Be Discoverd" has one on the top row second from left that would do the trick. I don't know what it's called since I already threw the packaging away. But it looks darker in the container than it actually is and its very shimmery and cute. Hope that helps! :0) <3

i have applied these aqua creams, and then washed my face with soap and water. i did not rub over my eyes. i patted my entire face dry, including my eyelids, and the shadows did not budge. my eye makeup looked like it did when i applied it. also, wore these on a trip to Niagara Falls, my face got wet on Maid of the Mist, these aqua creams never budged. I don't know about anyone else, but on me, and even without a primer, these babies do NOT budge, until i remove them with makeup remover.
