The only benefit I observed during my 4 month usage was that I did not get any pimples. I did get a pimple on part of my arm and applied the LX cream and the pimple was gone within 48 hours. Strange side benefit.

I feel that Future Solution LX is definitely worth the money... for me anyway. It is absorbed easily but it might be too rich for an acne prone skin. I have really seen a difference in my skin since I started using this cream but I'm 58.

I think that this product is definitely worth the money...it's very concentrated so you only need to apply a very small amount...I'm thinking that it will last 5-6 months. I don't know about the product's suitability for acne prone skin...I would think that a less intensive product would be more suited to acne prone skin.

If yes, in what order do I apply them? Retin A first and then the Shiseido Future Solution?

Retin A makes your skin extremely sensitive so I would talk to my dermatologist before using Future Solution LX. Retin A would go under Future Solution...it is a great cream but would hate for you to react because of the Retin A and think it's the cream's fault.

This product can indeed be used with Retin A. We suggest applying Retin A first and letting the item sink in for 10 minutes, and then applying this product.

Another option would be to rotate these items on a nightly basis.

Although I have not used the other cream, I read the reviews, and none of the complaints I have read about the other cream exist with this cream. So it may cost more, but it is perfection!
