Hi! This is not a fragrance-free product. Lavanila Healthy Baby bath-time products are lightly scented. They have a wonderful vanilla and candied almonds scent. In general I don't favor vanilla scent, but this is a light, nice one. I really love it!

It smells like Lavender. If you have ever smelled Philosophy's "Hope In A Jar", it's very similar to that. Subtle, but enough that I sent it back. Not a fan...

It is not fragrance free, but the scent is so light that you have the tendency of smelling it twice to figure out the scent.

It has a very light scent but it's a natural sort of smell. I don't know how to describe it except maybe a light soap and chamomile scent. The smell doesn't really linger afterward. I absolutely love it and will frequently smell the lotion just because.

Yep, it's tear-free! My son and I have been using all the products for a few weeks and we haven't had a problem yet. The other day he was trying to dodge me in the bathtub and I ended up pouring the water on his hair in such a way that the soap ran right down his face. He wasn't bothered by it at all!

I PUT it in MY eyes, and it doesn't burn or sting. My 5 week old got it in hers and she cried, but that could have been the water just as easily. I'd have to say, "maybe".

What does it smell like? Is it a vanilla smell?

There are many comments that pertain to the smell but am hoping someone can be more specific about WHAT it smells like. "Baby smell" doesn't help - don't have anything to compare to that. Floral? Vanilla? Anything that might help?? Thank you!

I would describe it as a light fresh vanilla scent. I bought this for my grandson, but I use it too. The scent does not overpower nor stay too long so I can wear my perfumes with it.
