I use it all the time on my face and neck without problems. It provides anice amount of moisture. I have sensitive skin and haven't had any problems with breakouts.

Totally. I have a highly sensitive skin, and I have used it a few times on my face as well. This is very soothing and moisturising at the same time.

After I put the lotion on my whole body, after showering, I put my face lotion on directly afterwards without having to rinse my hands first. With other lotions I would have to rinse my hands first. Maybe it is because it dries quickly or maybe it is just good for any part of your body. I do not have any reactions and my face usually lets me know if it is bothered. So far so good and I am on bottle number two. It does have a little scent which you may not like since you have sensitive skin. Get a sample if you can. Hope this helps :)

I don't see any reason why not. I would, however, try a small amount under your chin first.

I haven't tried it on my face, but as I was applying it to my arms and legs, I was thinking how the light texture would be appropriate for facial use.

Anything sensitive enough to be used on a baby would be senstive enough to use on adults...even the face.

I use it on my baby's face (3 months) and it does not irritate him. He has pretty sensitive skin.

I have used it on my face after a day at the beach with no problem. Just be aware that it does have a 'natural aroma' listed on the ingredients. Aloe is the first item listed- probably more natural than most lotions that are made for the face. No SPF though.

I wouldn't. I have extremely sensitive skin (and acne prone) as well and I would never dream of putting this on my face because of the fragrance. Even though it's an all natural fragrance, it would still irritate my face.

I suggest getting a sample of it first or got to your local Sephora and try a little on your face so that if you do get a bad reaction to it, you know you shouldn't buy it. I tried it on my face with the sample I got and my cheeks are sensitive and they were fine. If you really want to buy the lotion I suggest checking up on the return policy for such an item to make sure that if it's not for you, you are able to return it. Wish you luck.

even though it says that it is okay for adults with sensitive skin, I wouldn't use it on the face. Try something like Clinique redness solutions cream, works wonderfully with no additives.

Question
Lavanila Lotion vs. Body Butter?
My kids have slightly dry skin, so I was wondering if I should try the Lavanila Body Lotion or the Lavanila Body Butter. Other than the difference in texture, is the Body Butter A LOT more moisturizing than the lotion?

Thanks in advance for your input :)

my kids have very dry skin, i have to reaply lotion twice a day and the lotion is a good fit for normal skin, but for dry skin, go for the baby butter.

I would try the baby butter if your children have skin that is on the dry side, especially in the winter.

Yes, the baby butter is a lot more moisturizing than the lotion. Itr's thicker, richer, and great for chapped and dry skin.

I have the body lotion and it absorbs quickly, and leaves the skin moisturised. I like the texture of it. My son has slightly dry skin too, and he likes this one, because it does not feel greasy at all, and he feels like he is not wearing any moisturiser.

I own both and I end up using the body butter on my rougher spots like feet, knees, and elbows. I use the lotion on my body every night or else I get dry itchy skin all over. After wearing it overnight my skin is ok for the rest of the day. I feel like the body butter is too thick for your entire body in my humid climate. It feels like my skin can't breathe but it may be ok if you are having a harsh/dry winter. Both have the same scent, and I feel like they wear off fairly quickly (if that is a plus for you). Hope this helps :)

When my son was crawling I would put the body butter on his knees to help with dry sin... worked like a charm. And a little goes a long way, I use the butter when needed and use the lotion daily... hope this helps!!

I actually ordered the Body Butter to try out a different scent. I returned it after reading the ingredients. If this is for your children, the Healthy Baby Lotion is the better choice. Much more natural ingredients- I use it myself!

My son also has slightly dry skin. He gets small patches of eczema on his arms and back. I use the Baby Butter on his dry patches and the Baby Lotion everywhere else. As you can imagine, the Baby Butter is much thicker, but it is also a lot more moisturizing than the Baby Lotion, so I have found that it's more effective on the yucky spots.

My personal opinion is to buy The Healthy Baby Lotion. It can be used for your baby's face in addition to other areas, it's lighter and it moisturizes just as well. I got it for my sister-in-law for my 4 month old nephew and she loves it. She was skeptical, but now uses it after his bath and anytime he has a dry patch she would apply a little of it on. This is the first "baby" lotion that I truly believe that can be used for babies.

If they have slightly dry skin, then stick with the lotion. The body butter is quite creamy and may leave their skin feeling greasy.

It smells just like a baby product. Not sure what makes it smell that way, cause it's so natural. Don't use on yourself unless you want to smell like a baby.

It smells like a vanilla-y baby lotion but it's not overpowering. It fades quickly enough so that it doesn't interfere with my perfume.
