I've wondered about that myself. The other thing I wonder about is why some of the products are considered "all natural" with the implication that "all natural" is very good. When I've looked some of them up they're really bad for us. (This is not in regard to this product - I'm just responding to the question as posted). Maybe someday soon the government will make companies share this info. I know they care about proprietary information and secret ingredients, but those things may be what makes people sick.
Just yesterday I looked something up that was in a men's cologne and I saw that it was suggested that one of the ingredients be kept away from skin because it could irritate some people. That manufacturer (NOT Shiseido) didn't seem to care. Will all the allergies people have these days, it seems uncaring not to post ingredients.
I do find Shiseido to be at least be a reliable company with excellent products. I've been enjoying the products for many years and have never had a problem with anything.
Just my thoughts...
