It can be. I used it at night before eye cream and then night moisturizer. If you use it in the daytime too, make sure your moisturizer has spf to protect your skin.

I use it as a serum - meaning after washing and toning my face, then I apply my moisturizer. During the day I use a SPF moisturizer and at night I use Murad's Skin Perfecting Lotion. I use it twice a day.

Hopefully, my answer helps resolve your question.

I use it after I wash and tone my face. Then i apply the Acne & Wrinkle Reducer. After it sits for a little while, I moisturize and do my spot treatment. This seems to work for me (:

I use this product twice a day as my moisturizer. Periodically before bed I'll pat on a bit of Josie Moran Argan oil on top of it if I'm in the mood for a moisture surge. I also do use a separate eye moisturizer - this isn't a great product for the eye area (which needs heavier/more moisture)

I use it after washing my face in the morning and at night. I usually wait a few minutes to let the serum absorb into my skin before putting on my moisturizer.

If you add this product to Dr. Murad (or any other) anti acne line, you will get great results! I added it to another anti acne cleanser, toner, moisturizer line and am very pleased with results. I hardly break out anymore and my skin feels so much smoother!

Murad also makes a gel acne cleanser which works well. You might also try the Neutrogena "Acne Stress Control" foaming cleansers -- one's in a pump bottle, the other's in a tube. Same basic principle as this acne & wrinkle reducer.

I'd recommend using a moisturizer over this. Although I have very oily skin, it also dries out very easily, so I always use moisturizer with anti-acne products. I usually apply the Murad Acne & Wrinkle Reducer, let it sink in for several minutes, and then I apply Philosophy Hope in a Jar moisturizer (but you can use whatever moisturizer you like - that's just the one I use).

I would simply because of the dryness you talked about. Acne products are designed to dry the skin a bit but if your getting super dry and tight after using a product then it's time to change products. just remember, if you still get dry, exfoliate lightly THEN moisturize. You can't re-hydrate dead skin.

Question
How does foundation apply when using this product?
I have very oily skin and acne prone (even though this seems to be under control for the past few months). I need to know if anyone has used this product and applied foundation over it, is it easy to apply or does it "roll off"? I have very bad luck with finding a base under my foundation, have tried a few others like the Pomegranate Primer from Korres and Zero Oil Moisture lotion from Origins, even though they definitely reduced the oil and shine on my face when worn alone, when applying foundation over it it always rolled off. I did let both of these products sink in on my face for a while, but still didn't have any luck. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I only use this product at night, not with makeup. It doesn't dry you out but it's also not moisturizing, it usually just puts my skin back to it's natural texture. I use powder makeup so I like to have a really moisturized base. However, this product REALLY helped with my acne, so I would definitely say get it and use it at night.

Hi there, I think I can help you!
I wear Estee Lauder double Wear (very full foundation) but I have tried many of the big name brands. I use this every morning and it has never interfered with my foundation. It is VERY light and it is absorbed quickly. A tip I have for you to help with application: Wash your face, pat dry and then immediately apply this product. This will help you get a thin coverage all over (and save product) because your skin is still slightly wet. It makes it easier to spread. I noticed in the morning after using this the night before, that it is completely absorbed when I do this. But when I apply to totally dry skin I sometimes have a tiny bit too much. I hope you like this product, if you have oily skin this is one of the best choices I could imagine. Their moisturizers are also very light weight.

This depends on your skin type and acne type.. This product is perfect for adult acne, combination skin. It is calming and soothes the skin. It fights acne but not like the exfoliating treatment gel, which tends to strip away more oils and focuses more on disinfecting/killing bacteria. Try a sample of each - that would be best, but if you have teen acne I recommend the other one.

Exfoliating acne treatment gel. I use the acne cleanser and the gel and additionally the acne spot treatment when I get breakouts. In a few days of using these products exclusively, my skin clears up. I also moisturize with the Murad skin perfecting lotion. The wrinkle/acne lotion doesn't do anything for me in the acne nor wrinkle department. I think you have to choose one or the other...

It is very thin and not at all too heavy . Its lighter than a butter, cream, or gel. It is closest to a gel, but imagine a gel that you added water to- that is this product.
