The towelettes are large since they are supposed to cover the entrire body but I don't think you would be able to use them more than once.
Most of the product is used up when you use the towelette plus what is left would dry out before you could use it again.

You wash your hands right when you get done using the tan towel and they don't tan or get orange at all, it's one of the fantastic reasons I use Tan Towels

You just wash your hands after you finish and then I just pick up the towel gingerly and rub the backs of my hands. It's also not a very strong self-tanner so that may also have something to do with it.

How do you apply these to not get streaks or splotches?
When I use the tan towel, it bunches up in my hand and I feel like I can't make a circular motion or cover everything I need to before the wetness runs out. Any tips you have to make this go on evenly or best would be greatly appreciated!

What I've been doing is running the towel along first, then doing the circular motion with my other hand. That way it's faster and you get a more even result. Make sure your skin is completely dry and that you wash your hands right after =)

answer 5
The trick is definitely to not go in a straight up and down motion - even if you don't use perfect circles, as long as your pattern is random, that should keep the streaks away. You could fold the towel and just unfold it as you use it up, too. You can also kind of grab onto it with your fingers instead of trying to have your palm open. Either way, remember to scrub your hands good or they will tan.

Start on the exposed body areas you want first. then move to the others. After I wash my hands I use it on the backs of them after everything else.

answer 7
Hard to explain, but I sort of put my palm on it with my fingers wide, then sort of squeeze my fingers together, pinching pieces of it between my fingers. That holds it still and I can rub it around, then move my hand for the other side to take advantage of the pieces that were pinched between my fingers.

Unfold, half on your hand at a time. Turn over and use both sides. Start with the parts you want darkest. It takes a little getting used to. If unsure smooth over with bare hand.

The product goes on clear and dries within minutes. I have hopped right in bed after application and have never noticed any staining. I guess the safest thing is to apply it 2 days before. Or start a week in advance and apply one each night until you get just the right color. Congrats on the wedding!

I am a size 18. To cover my entire body and face, I used 2 towels. You can feel the towel start to "dry out" as you use it, so you'll know when you need to open a new one. (5 towels come in each package, fairly large, like a hand towel).

I have very sensitive skin and applied this product to my face, arms, and legs. I did not experience a breakout. It does, in my humble opinion, have a bit of a tanning product odor and I did not notice any discernible change in my skin tone (which is medium to olive). I should have purchased the darker shade, which would be my recommendation for anyone purchasing this product. Great concept. Great for vacation!

Yes it will be gone in 2 to 3 days with exfoliating. But it is a temporary tan so without exfoliating it stays on for about a week. I haven't noticed any streaking at all.

A few days after I applied the product, I got a bit too exuberant with my pouf, and I wound up scrubbing blotches of tan off my legs. So be careful if you do exfoliate and do it evenly. I would avoid it if you could.

It lasts me a couple of days with one shower each day.
If you exfoliate and shave the morning you apply the towel (so your skin is clean and ready for application) the tan towel will last longer. Remember, you can always reapply in a couple days with another towel :)

Won't turn orange! Just do your whole body before doing your feet and hands because the skin ther is dryer and will absorb more product.

I find that it lasts about 4 days for me and then starts to fade. Of course, I am using the fair - med shade, so I am not super dark anyway.

no, u wont be orange but only use one application at a time. i use one a week and it looks great. plus it is a much better alturnitive to tanning beds, my mom used to tan all of the time and she looks terrible and full of frekles. at the most you most have to use 2 a week, and it only takes a second to rub it in. i also recomend the tan towel moisturizer. it slowly tans you every time you moisturize

I have not used the Kate product, but have purchased the Tan Towelette from Sephora. I do not recommend the fair-to-medium shade as I did not notice any change in my skin tone. I do have medium to olive colored skin, so I probably should have went with the darker shade. To insure "seeing" a result, I recommend going with the darker shade with this product.
