Question
is this product supposed to have a white layer/particles of undissolved/insoluble material?

Yes, I saw this question answered on the Perricone Facebook page. They are part of the proprietary formula and nothing to worry about. You are supposed to shake the product before applying it, and it is recommended that you apply it with your fingers or cotton gauze rathen than cotton balls to avoid wasting the product.

Question
How does one use this product?
Is this a serum that you apply under moisturizer? Should one use it only on porous areas, like the apples of the cheeks, or is it an all over moisturizer? It seems really large (4 oz!) for a serum, but I'm a bit confused as to what else this would be? Help me out, ladies! :)

This is for people who have large pores, it is not a moisturizer. This product helps large pores, which appear almost black, fade away and become much smaller.

This product is definitely not a serum. I use this on clean skin, just on areas with enlarged pores, then follow with toner (all over), then moisturizer, or serum followed by moisturizer.

This isn't a serum, it has the consistency of a toner, and you would use it where you would normally use a toner in your skincare routing. However, be forewarned that it is very exfoliating and drying to the skin. My skin couldn't tolerate it at all, but if you want to try it, I would recommend starting slowly, using this product only a few times a week.

This is a serum that is used a few minutes after washing your face. It is applied all over for the effect of pore minimization. Moisturizer can then be applied over it.

Question
Smell?
Dr. Perricone recommends following with Advanced Face Firming Activator and/or Cold Plasma to help accelerate results of this item, but both of the above have user reviews of a strong "fishy" smell which inhibited their use. This product seems promising in what it " is formulated to do", but I will not be able to withstand strong offensive smells. What does this smell like or how is the smell of this product?

kind of smells like urine. There are no additives for a better smell. I just use it and move on. Many products with that added smell I am not able to be around so this one smells better than those. It is a toss-up for you.

I use the Advanced Face Firming Activator and yes it smells for a bit, but it does not bother me as it does not last very long. Personally, I would rather smell the ingredients rather than the perfume in products. I think it is up to you to decide if the product is worth the scent. I don't use the Activator every day. I alternate with Clinique's Clinical Dark Spot Corrector. I sometimes us Cold Plasma, but not always. I guess what I'm saying is that you do not have to use another product after the Minimizer, except sunscreen which is non-negotiable!!!

This product has a very light fishy smell. I found it tolerable, though not pleasant. That said, I found this to be a very harsh and irritating product on my skin, so if you must try it, I would suggest starting slowly, using it only several times a week.

It does have a bit of the fishy smell from the DMAE but it's not NEARLY as bad as the Cold Plasma. There is a fragrance added to cover it up which really helps, but there's still a faint fish smell.

Is this product perfectly safe for pregnant women to use?

It contains Salicylic acid which is commonly used an acne products. It has no irritants. This will not give you acne or clog your pores (it does the opposite). I would say that if you are sensitive to any of the ingredients then you should consult your dermatologist.

Question
Any contradictions to use with some mosturizers?
I'm interested in starting to use this product. Now I use clinique's 3-step toner but I would like to change to a more specific product like this pore minimizer. After the toner, I use clinique's even better serum as mosturizer, and I very much like it's results so I wouldn't want to stop using it. My question is: are there any contradictions about using those products together? Is there any risk on "mixing" the intensive pore minimizer's and the even better serum's ingredients?
Thanks a lot!
