Honestly, I didn't get very good results from this pencil and I was only trying to hide stubborn under eye circles. Benefit Eye Bright is the same kind of light pink, but I don't know how it would do on tattoos.

Don't waste your money. I work at a bank and have to work my wardrobe around my tattoos which gets very obnoxious sometimes so I thought I would invest the money into the makeup to cover them once in awhile and was extremely disappointed when it did not work.
I bought everything for every step, spent over $100 and it didn't work. I even tried multiple times to make sure I wasn't doing something wrong.
The Kat Von D pencil is too soft and smudgy. It doesn't dry so when you put the concealer on it just wipes the pencil away. The only way to even get close to covering it is by seriously caking on the concealer and even then it doesn't fully cover a black tattoo. I tried to use the concealer then on my face so it wasn't a complete waste of money and it was terrible. It broke me out so bad I will never use it again. If you want to invest money into covering your tattoos I would look into ben nye stage makeup as a concealer and I am thinking a cheaper white eyeliner pencil would cover better then her pink soft smudgy one. They even have those air brush makeup machines now too. Either way - her products aren't worth the money.

this works OK. but beware because even with the concealer over this, it rubs off on your clothes. plus after a little bit, the tattoos are visible again even without ruboff

Im sorry to say that I dont think its worth the money. I took my time to cover a small tattoo on my wrist first hoping it would work so i could cover one on my shoulder when I go to certain places that is not proper for tattoos. I will tell you when I was done it looked like I had put base on my wrist and it looked odd. It did cover it but it also smears off when u rub it and its not suppose to and if someone is sitting next to you, you can notice you have like a blob. I guess from far away it is not noticible, but I also think you would get the same result with just base. I would send u a pic but in pictures it looks good, its in person that you notice the difference.

This WON'T cover the blues, purples, reds, and greens it promises to cover. I tried this along with the tattoo concealer, and was unpleasantly surprised at the results. I ended up returning it, which I generally don't do. I was really surprised to find out out how little it covered, especially coming from Kat VonD, as I really like some of her other products and well, that's how she makes her living, you know? I wouldn't waste my money if I were you.

I went into Sephora the other day to check out the tattoo concealer kit as I had heard it was available in Canada. Firstly...for the size of the concealer...at $35 waste of money.
As a make up artist I get the idea...they are trying to put a latex layer over the tattoo with flesh colouring in the latex. However, I stood in the store and tried the testers as directed and it did nothing but make my indigo tattoo look faded...which is useless.
Too bad...if someone could come up with a concealer that really worked...there would be a market for it...
Im guessing that for the Kat shoot they must have also gone into Photoshop later..because hers are black and completely unnoticable in the image for Saint.

Yes. You will get full coverage with this. I have tried the $35 a tube stuff from the mall with no luck so I was really doubting this. But Kat did a great job

I bought this to cover my tattoo for a teaching interview. Thankfully I tried it the night before because it did not even come close to covering my tattoo. I used this product and then Kat's tattoo cover-up. It made it half as vibrant, so it looked like I had a faded out tattoo. I tried more layers and it just looked like i put a bunch of thick foundation on it and the tattoo was still totally noticeable!

It did not work for me. I have a tattoo on my wrist that I have to cover for work and I wanted this so that I wouldn't have to wear a watch all the time. It did not cover even with a concealer on top. It rubbed off easily. I have yet to find anything that will cover up a tattoo and not look strange.
