This pencil, though wonderful, does have to be sharpened. It is worth it though. I have shopped and shopped for the perfect nude and this is it!

This pencil does require sharpening; it does not roll up. But remember that these traditional lip pencils have a softer, waxy texture, so they usually glide on better. You also have the ability to sharpen it to your desired point (more pointed for a precise line). Generally, these lip pencils also last longer and are less prone to breakage.

This does not self-sharpen. Don't be so lazy as some of the best liners are "old fashioned" - you have to sharpen them yourself.
