This is the eye cream that best "plays nice" with my concealer (NARS Stick) so I use this only in the morning. I realized that at night I was needing more moisture so I either layer this first or use a separate, richer creme. I love this sorbet, gel like, hydrating eye treatment!

I am sure it can be used twice a day, but I find it hydrating enough for night time use only.

I used this in the morning and it seems to work until the late evening. So, I think you can get away with using it only once a day in the morning.

I imagine you can use it morning and night, however I prefer a heavier eye cream at night to supplement this, I use shiseido benifiance eye cream and the combination works wonders.

Yeah you can use this twice a day. I personally love it during the day.

Here is my morning eye routine:
1. a retinol serum for eyes
2. this
That is all I do in the morning. This won't melt your eye makeup off. It is great for mornings. I used to use:
1. a retinol serum for eyes
2. a cucumber eye gel
3. a lightweight firming eye cream
As you can see, this cut back two steps into one for my mornings.

Onto night. I find it moisturizing and perfect for day, but I want maximum moisture at night. At night I:
1. use a retinol serum for eyes
2. a very creamy avocado eye cream (ke!hls)
3. argan oil to seal it in.
I never ever ever get dry eye skin with that method.

Side note, you can use oils near your lashes, just be careful with creams near the lashes or brows. They tend to clog the hair shaft, inhibiting growth. Oils are good for lash health though, thus my using argan oil. Just a drop between both eyes and my lips. I think if I could just recommend one eye product it would be a retinol for the eyes, get on it if you are not. Love Dr. Den!se eye retinol serum, dermalogica (however you spell it) makes a great one too.

It can be used morning and nite but I find any eye cream used on the upper eye during the day will make eye makeup crease more readily.

I have for several months and have never had a problem. I love the gel type refreshing consistency, its never too heavy and most important does not cause my concealer to pill like every other eye cream I have tried.

At nite I use it under my eyes and on the brow bone working outside in and patting the product on with the ring finger. When I'm going to wear make up I only use a tiny bit under the eye so it doesn't interfere with my eye makeup.

I asked the girl at the Sephora store about this and she told me to use it on the top only near my brows, that it cannot be used on the lids and that what would eventually work its way down onto the lids is enough but if you actually put it there, it would be too much on that area. Also supposed to use it on the bottom. I do not put it up into my bottom lashes, I figure it will work its way there as it does on the lids.

I have very sensitive skin around my eyes and I can't just use any old eye cream. Some make my skin red and burn, but not this one! It's very silky and goes on sooo smoothly. I would recommend it even if you have sensitive skin.
It's a little expensive but worth it! I can even see my dark circles lightening!

Hi- Yes, there's no 'dripping' or 'melting' down which stings the eyes- I haven't had ANY swelling under my eyes which usually would've happened by now, so it hasn't bothered my super-picky skin. Also, it works great under make up. No heavy smell. Has made a huge difference in my 'between the brow' lines. I have tried just about everything on the market and Dior has been the very best & their
'Nude' foundation is like a miracle- covers but no 'make up' look
at all. Just makes skin look its best which is all I'm after.
I am a Dior convert.

Not sure. What I can tell you is that it is not oily, and it won't melt your makeup off. I have oily skin/lids, not combination leaning oily. I am an oil slick ten minutes after washing. This causes me no problems.

Question
how to correctly apply this product and where around the eye should I put it?

This is a long term treatment and you probably wont see instant results. However, keeping to a regular routine would greatly improve the results and like any product when you stop using it the results will stop coming. I find I only really need to apply small amounts of this under the eye area from the inner corner out a bit until I feel the edge of the orbital bone. Then I apply a small amount up in the outer edge of the brow bone brow bone and outside corner.

answer 2
Any eye cream should be applied on the orbital bone area. Feel around your eye socket. The edge where the bone ends all around the eye is where you should apply it. Now, yes this is long term, but by no means you should stop using your eye creams.

Yes this works well for slight puffiness, but if you have a good deal of puffiness from the natural process of aging, i suggest using something cold under the eyes every morning, then topping with this. Like an inexpensive rollerball, then top it off with this product. Rollerballs usually are not that hydrating, but the cold from the roller ball will help constrict and in turn help with puffiness. That or you could do the old school trick of two cold spoons, run 2 teaspoons under cold water in the morning, every morning and gently press under the eyes. Then use this eye cream. I've also heard caffeine can help, in an eye cream, but I have not read anything to thoroughly convince me of that. if you are younger, and have a good deal of puffiness, check your diet, do you consume a lot of salt? Do you drink enough fluids every day? And get enough sleep! Sleep is so important for skin, for the body and brain too. Sleep at least 7-8 hours a night.

Would this product work for very dark purple, black under eye circles for a 14 year old? Or would a different product work better?

I think that in that case it may be heredity and if that is the case there is only so much any product would do. I've dealt with dark circles from 8yrs on and now as an adult find this product does help reduce not eliminate the undereye darkness. Any good eye cream though will help hydrate which will help to ease the dark circles. Try a few and see what feels and works best in your specific case but for me I am happy with it.
