A little goes very very long way...
it lasts me about 3 months. with once a day use some days twice for under makeup application.
but you really wouldn't need to put it on twice a day... it's just THAT good.

On average with 2x a day use (and you only need a pearl size amount if using only on face and not neck) you should get 4+ months out of one jar. An anverage replenishment rate is stated at 6 months.

This is a good day time cream because it is light weight and not greasy. For me it is not moisturizing enough to use overnight.

I use it at night- I thought I read somewhere that's when you use it, and plus it doesn't have SPF, so I wouldn't use it in the morning anyhow

I use this morning and night. You only need a little bit and it works great. During the day make sure to use something with SPF.

Personally I have oily skin so I prefer to only use this on my dry spots during the day and all over at night, for the summer. Now in the winter, I use it all over everyday. It happens to be thick. Just try it out and see what works well for you, everyone is different :-) Good luck and I hope you like it as much as I do.

I use it in the morning to wake up =)
I use it under makeup
i use it at night after hard day at work to relax me before sleeping.
it's so refreshing and once a day is more than enough.
so however you would like to use it is good.

I just used it and applied it at night, but I think it's meant for the day. I don't see Dior selling this cream in a night version so I think you could use it day or night like me. I plan on applying this during the day too!

No, the sorbet creme does not have SPF. There is a hydraction version that is SPF 15. I've tried it, and it works well, but it is definitely a lot heavier than the sorbet creme is and tends to make my face super oily during the day.

no it doesn't. i usually put it on at night, and skip it in the morning so my face doesn't get too oily. i just do toner, serum, and a lighter moisturizer w/ spf30 (lancome multi-vital) in the morning.

I used to use the hydraction sorbet and was sooooo sad when they discontinued it. I have not noticed any real difference between the hydralife and the hydraction sorbets though, so I would say this is a good substitute.

It's the same, Dior has the tendency to change some of the names around the Hydra line used to be called iOd
so there isn't a difference it's just making them better packaged and more marketable.

The HydraLife and the Hydraction Sorbet Creme have the same consistancy. The formula is udated with newer technologies allowing it to do more for your skin. It not only locks in moisture and maintains hydration but boosts collagen as well. The technology used in this line is noted for its effectiveness in medical journals and has won a Nobel science prize.

I wouldn't think that a 13yo would be harmed by this moisturizer. It is very light and moisturizing, and ideal for problem combination skin that is common with teenagers. As long as s/he does not have any allergies to the ingredients I think s/he would benefit from starting a skincare routine at 13. Most skin damage that we see in our later years is done in our early years.

answer 1
Technically yes, but depending on your skin it could cause puffiness. Eye puffiness can cause wrinkles because of the expanding and contracting of the skin, so be careful with that. Eye creams are made specifically for the more delicate skin around your eyes. But if it does not cause puffiness for you, then it is probably fine.
