Hi!
In my opinion, this scrub is a little bit too oily for acne-prone skin.
I would go with a scrub that doesn't add oils (like a sea-salt based one), with enzymes if possible (citrus extracts, notably).
If you need extra-moisture for your dry skin, start with a toner, because what usually happens is that the skin is dehydrated. (meaning that it lacks water, not oils). If that isn't enough, amp up your moisturizer!
Here are my suggestions of products:
Scrub:
- Laura Mercier Skin Face Polish, a gently scrub that you could use twice a week to unclog pores!
Toner:
- The Korres pomegranate one is awesome, because it doesn't dry the skin, and pomegranate extracts contain enzymes, which will help clear your skin.
Moisturizer:
- To start, the DDF Moisturizing dew is very light, soothing, helps with redness and is not oily.
If it is not moisturizing enough, you could go with Hope in a jar.
Hope that helps :)

You should never use a scrub when you have acne. Using a scrub actually helps spread the acne. However, this product is thick enough to be able to use on your face around, but not directly on the acne prone areas.

No. I have very sensitive skin as well. This did not work for me on the long run. It was ok the first time i used it. So it used it again after about 10 days. i got some irritation, so i stop using until i got all healed up. Then i tried again, and i got even more irritation. :-(
Still looking for that exfoliator that my skin can tolerate.

This exfoliant is very helpful in clearing up my obnoxious adult acne for a great deep down clean without being too harsh or drying!

Not sure, but when I told an employee I had really sensitive skin, they mentioned I could return it if it didn't work for me so I bought it and still use.

It is gentle enough to use during breakouts. When skin is breaking out we have a tendency to want to use harsh chemicals to try to clear the skin faster. Often this is more irritating. Its best to be gentle on your skin during bad breakouts and not to over wash or treat the skin. Over treating, washing or picking at the skin will irritate, leading to more oil production and a vicious cycle.

I don't see why you couldn't use this with acne prone skin. Often times mild exfoliation helps improve acne. You may not want to use it daily if your skin is very sensitive. Though I do feel that this product is extremely gentle.

I don't know if you have tried this yet or not but I would be afraid that it would be too intensive for acne prone/sensitive skin. I love the product but I have tough skin and it is very "normal".
