My boyfriend wears it day-to-day but I wouldn't see why someone would use it only for special occasions? People should smell good ALL the time and this is a soft, fruity, and seductive enough cologne to wear all the time :)

Dakine - It's really not a special occasion kind of cologne at all. There are hundreds of men's colognes out right now that smell similar to this - I work in the fragrance industry and have to sample a ton of product like this.

If you want a truly individual scent, but want to stay affordable and commercial, start with these: Angel, by Thierry Mugler, anything by Bulgari, anything by Gucci and for the real impact, try anything that John Varvatos offers. I think if you lined up all of the Burberry line back-to-back, you won't find much difference there. It's solid, but forgettable and safe.

This is a safe, beginner's fragrance designed for Guys with a capital G. It won't offend anyone, nor will it make any kind of real statement on your skin. It is strictly for "People Who Want To Try Wearing Something." Not much fun, though.

Yes! I absolutely love the smell that every time I smell my boyfriend wearing it I just want to sniff and bite him all night!

But seriously, the notes are so soft and can be so sweet that a lot of women really do find it relaxing and desirable....give it a try at the store if you don't believe! :)
