i haven't tried using this under my eyes, but I have extremely sensitive eyes, so I don't use any of my face products around the eyes. I do, however, use the Shiseido sun protection made specifically for the eyes and I love it. It has a SPF 32 and does not sting my eyes at all (and most eye creams I've tried do, both high end and drugstore kinds). I would highly recommend the shiseido sun protection eye cream. Lancome also makes an eye cream high SPF that I would recommend as well.

I haven't had any breakouts using this, which used to be a problem with other sunscreens I've used (not daily but at the beach/pool). Yet, not having had any breakouts may also be attributed to my other skin care regimen, especially Josie Maran's Argan oil at night.

I cant tell whether this product contribute to my pore being clogs or not as I do use other products beside this on a daily basis. I only put it on in the morning before I go outside and hardly use it anytime afterward, unless I will be outdoor for a long period of time, then I will lightly pat it on my face again.. Try to stay out of the sun during the day anyway.

Here are the mild comedogenic ingredients (rating out of 5 being the most comedogenic)
Butylene Glycol 1/5,
Zinc Oxide 1/5
Butylene Glycol 1/5
Dimethicone 1/5
They list ingredients from highest amount to lowest and these mildly comedogenic ingredients are in the top 5.

I can't imagine it could be bad for combination skin. I have oily skin and this does not break me out at all. It works great and I have tried tons of sunscreens since I work outside every day. It goes on a little heavy but blends in very quickly and works fine under makeup.

I would say it's just a sunscreen. If your skin is on the oily side then you could probably use it as both. I have really dry skin and need a moisturizer and sunscreen before applying my makeup.

answer 2
i use this in conjunction with a tinted moisturizer most of the times and I find they keep my face perfectly moisturized. I have combination skin that can be a bit oily in the summer, especially around the t-zone area. This keeps my face from looking like a grease ball, but also gives it enough hydration.

Question
Did the formula change?
I know the lotion's formula has been said to have changed, so I'm wondering if the fomula for the cream has also changed. On the tube from last year there wasn't any titanium dioxide writen on the active ingredient list. Does this make a big difference? I'm woried i might be allergic to the new active ingredient.

answer 4
There is titanium dioxide and zinc oxide in this one and it's pretty high, probably one of the highest of any sunscreens I have used. Which is better, the higher the better because it will block more UVA/UVB rays for longer too. It's really the best to get as much protection as possible from a physical suncreen. I really like this one over most of the drugstore brands.

Sadly, yes :( It's a new formula, it's still nice just not AS nice as the old formula. Titanium Dioxide shouldn't really cause any skin irriations in my experience, but your mileage may vary.

Hi,

This is that kind of container, as the previous reviewer explained. And just a thought for those other kinds of containers where you can pry the tops off with a nice and try to refill - I've done that a couple of time and then the pressure from squeezing out the product blew the top off and product went everywhere. It wasn't a pretty sight. Regardless, this is a different kind of container and not meant to be refilled. Also, you only save about a dollar by buying the larger container - this isn't one of those cases where we get a huge savings with a big container. The savings is minimal, unfortunately. (You don't need a lot so the travel size will last a long time since it's just for the face).

Hope this helps.

Hope this helps.

Not refillable. Product is in a flat flip-top tube. Plus is the tube opens from the bottom, making the cream more accessible as it begins to run out.
