I can't answer this regarding potential chemical interactions of chemical UV protection (e.g., avobenzone), because I only use physical UV protection (e.g., titanium, zinc), which sits on top of your skin. I would think any physical UV product with few other ingredients beyond the UV protection would probably work fine. Otherwise, if it was me and I preferred the chemical type (which doesn't wash off and lasts longer), I'd probably stick with Clinique (which has good UV protection products, IMHO). If anyone has had negative experiences with physical UV products, by all means, please correct me. Hope this helps.

I use before the moisturizer. The skin tone corrector smooths into the skin, the moisturizer has more moisture so it takes longer to rub in.

Question
What is the main difference between clinique's even better clinical dark spot corrector and clinique's even better skin corrector?
I am looking for something that will help erase stubborn acne scarring and the dark spots left behind. I have tried the original even better skin corrector but if the new formula is stronger, then maybe that would be better for me?

If you have acne scars and dark spots please try Dark Spot Corrector. It works but it took me 2 large bottles to get rid of them. Be patient as once there gone your done and your face is beautiful.

I personally don't think you will find much difference unfortunately. I have only made it to week 4 and the only spot it has helped is a sun damaged caused circle on my nose but all my other dark spots and acne spots seem unaffected. I will try it for the entire 12 weeks to see if this gets better.

Question
good for face only?
I'm 61 and have a couple of scattered dark spots over my cheek bones. Do you think this is a good product for me? Also does it do anything for dark spots on hands, etc. or just face?

I have used it on my hands and I wish I could afford to use it all over my limbs to lighten brown sun damage....ahhh the sins of youth. On the other hand I have used this product on my upper chest and currently trying it to lighten a mole removal scar on my midsection...(so far so good...the redness is lightening) I hope you get the results you desire.

Question
Can I use Obagi NuDerm Sunfader SPF 15 with this product?
I just purchased both the Obagi NuDerm Sunfader and the Even Better Clinical Dark Spot Corrector. I'm wondering if it's safe to use both products. I would use the Obagi NuDerm as my daily facial moisturizer.

They recommend using this product with a sunscreen... I would use that on top of this product... always thinnest to thickest.

I let this product soak in for 10 minutes and then apply my sun screen. It's not that particular kind but this method has been fine for me and I've seen results. Good luck.

Using this product twice a day is imperative if you are looking to see results. Also, a moisturizer with an SPF (preferably SPF 25), or a sunscreen, applied daily is a must.

I let it soak in for 10 minutes before putting anything else over it. I didn't find it needed a moisturizer, it's not that drying. Hope that helps!

I use this with Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Daily Facial Peel. I have really seen nice results in texture and firmness of my skin. I would say that that would do some good with anti-aging if used with Even Better.

I have been using anti-aging product 10 minutes after applying this at night. It's worked well. This helps with aging but not very much. If you are young, then don't worry about aging but if you are a bit older I wouldn't recommend putting on anti-aging treatment a few minutes after, although this product has made my skin softer!

Good luck.

The Even Better Clinical Dark Spot Corrector is Clinique's most advanced brightening (for hyperpigmentation, uneven skintone, dark spots, etc) product.

Their Even Better Skin Tone Corrector is an excellent product, but for more dramatic results we would suggest using their Clinical Dark Spot Corrector.
