Is it really a red color?
Is the red color of this lipstick a sheer pinky red or brownish red? Please post photos of it on your lips, if possible. Thanks!

I would not say that it is a red color. It is more of a wine color. But it looks great and natural on your lips.

Soft brownish red for sure, not bright at all. Maybe a good red for someone who thinks most reds are too bright. For me, it was nowhere near red enough or bright enough.

It looks brownish in the tube, but it's a clear, true red on the lips. It starts out pinkish, but gets redder if you apply more. (It gets very glossy if you apply it thickly, so if you want something matte, this one won't be for you.)

If you go on to Sephora.com and look under Shiseido it will list the ingredients. I don't remember what it contains, But it seems to treat my lips nicely.

Yes! It is a beautiful amazing sheer mauvey-rosey-pink. I wore it on my wedding day! It glides on, and is moisturizing. While it is sheer, it is not too light!
