What difference does it make if it does not rotate?
I am considering getting the Body brushes for the Clarisonic Mia2. I have been told that on a regular Clarisonic, the body brush does not spin. So you just brush it around by yourself? How can this be any different from using a regular (not electric) scrubbing brush?
My second question, related to this, is about the brand new limited edition PLUS version of the Clarisonic I just saw at the shop today. The salesperson told me that, as opposed to plugging this body brush to a face Clarisonic, the PLUS one adapts the oscillations accordingly, "recognizing" the use of the machine on the body, and not on the face. This package reaches 259$ at the shop, so it makes a very big difference for me.
Has anyone tried it? Would it be worth it?
Thank you for your answers!

on Body Brush Head
I use the Plus and the brush spins nicely. It also uses the face brushes. It does recognize the difference between the two brushes and uses different settings for the two.
Body brush is a great tool however if it is not a Pro or a Plus you will not recieve any benifit from the body brush.
As for your other question... I don't know. I own a Mia2 for travel and a Clarisonic Pro for the home. Both are wonderful. The difference is that the Pro has higher speeds and the benifit of the body brush.
You need to use the body brush head with the Clarisonic Plus like the website describes. Expensive I know but extremely worth it. I consider it an essential part of my beauty arsenal.
