I have porcelain skin and it works great on me, I would say you might be a bit let down if you have a darker skin tone, it may not show up.

Hello!

I'm pretty sure this luminizer will work with almost every skin tone, but I would try it a few times to be sure.

To use it as a highlight on the cheeks, just apply blush as normal first. I usually apply mine at the apple of my cheek and then sweep upward and back along my cheek bone. Then I sweep the Kabuki Luminosa just above where I applied my blush, making sure that I am overlapping them a little. All in all, apply to the upper half of your cheek bones sweeping back and upward towards your temples.

*For an added highlight, use in the inner corner of the eyes and on the browbones.

Hope I was able to help!

Great question! i had the same question before purchasing it. It is meant to highlight your skin (or to make you "glow") so you do not need to worry about it matching your skin tone! I hope this helps!

As far as the skin tone goes it will lighten the areas of your skin just like bronzer darkens someone with fair skin, If you can I would go to a store to test it to make sure it looks right to you. I definitely use it as a highlighter and it may look pink online but it is more of a light tan

This isn't pink at all, it is just very very light in color (Way too light for me). It was like putting on white powder with glitter.

I don't think it will make you look too pink if anything I think it will give a nice balance to your skin tone. However if you're looking for something with a more light golden undertone I really like Albatross from Nars.

I too have "not pale" olive skin with yellow undertones. I had the same questions that you did about pinkness, but I bought the powder anyway. I have to say that I LOVE it. It doesn't make me look pink at all. Instead, the pinkness blends into my skintone, leaving a warm shimmer behind. The shimmer itself is slightly pink, but only in certain lights and not overwhelmingly so. I'd recommend trying it in store (if you can) before purchasing just to be safe, but you can always return it!

For application, I usually take a blush brush or a face powder brush, and lightly tap the surface of the powder (so as not to overcoat the brush.) Then, I brush it along my cheekbones, my forehead, and little bit on the bridge of my nose. Sometimes I blend it in a little with the brush or my fingers if I overpowdered myself.

One thing that I've noticed about this powder is that it's very hard to apply evenly overtop of other face powders. I usually apply the luminosa powder and diavolina bronzers directly after moisturizing.

Hope this helps!

It is very subtle. I am very pale and it isn't very dramatic, but it is pink based and might give you a pink-ish cast if used all over. I would try Thebalm "MarylouManizer" instead, it is more neutral in tone.

My guess on the first question would be yes since it technically just white and also very transparent. and no i dont think it will make anyone too pink and the best way to weat an illuminator is to aply it above the apples of your cheeks just bellow you eye, also under the eyebrow on the brow bone, in the little divit just above your top lip and on each side of the bridge of your nose

As a highlighter, I use this on my upper cheek bones right under my eyes (over concealer is best!). Also apply on the brow bones to highlight as well. The color is a very sheer pink with shimmer (but not sparkly so its great for daytime use!)

Yes, it does have a shimmer. There is a pink micro-glitter that isn't overpowering, but you can see it on the skin and helps to add sparkle. One swipe on the cheek winds up with probably ten of the tiny pieces of the glitter. I wear it to work every day.

Yes, it has a large amount of shimmer, not pearly. Personally, I wouldn't use this all over, I would go for something that is more subtle, but still has the shimmer you are looking for.
