Clarisonic Opal® Sonic Skin Infusion System

What it is:A sonic device that enhances the effectiveness of products applied to the eye area and an antiaging eye serum optimized for sonic infusion. What it is formulated to do:The Opal Sonic infuses serums into the skin more effectively than manual application. As the device is moved in small circles around the eye area, its soft applicator tip delivers products with more than 7,500 gentle micro-massages per minute. Serums and creams are absorbed more deeply and evenly, enhancing their ability to promote healthy, hydrated, and younger-looking skin. The included Anti-Aging Sea Serum is optimized for the dynamics of sonic infusion. Its multilayered approach includes marine extracts and botanicals to provide multiple properties including: hydration, firming, smoothing, tightening, and antioxidant protection. If desired, the Opal can be used with your favorite eye product. This set contains:- Opal Sonic Infuser - 0.5 oz Anti-Aging Sea Serum - 2 Replacement Applicator Tips - Universal Voltage Charger What it is formulated WITHOUT:- Parabens- Sulfates- Synthetic Fragrances- Synthetic Dyes- Petrochemicals- Phthalates- GMOs- Triclosan What else you need to know:Developed by the lead inventor of Sonicare(R) and the Clarisonic Sonic Skin Cleansing system, the Opal integrates into your eye care ritual seamlessly: use for just 30 seconds around each eye. According to Clarisonic, after four weeks a noticeable improvement in skin's elasticity will result. After eight weeks, fine lines and puffiness are visibly reduced and eyes appear brighter. The Opal Sonic Infusion System is dermatologist- and ophthalmologist-tested, rechargeable, and gentle enough for daily use.

Questions & Answers for Clarisonic Opal® Sonic Skin Infusion System

Question
What is the BEST serum to use with the Opal?
Ok, so I have the serum that originally came with my Opal and it is ok.... But as a girl who has officially ventured into her 40s and has the perfect storm of fine lines, dark circles, and puffiness....I need something a little more.

What product(s) have given you the BEST experience and results with your Opal?

Thanks in advance!

I use the new Perricone Acyl-Glutathione eyelid serum - all around the eye... the 2 products together are unstoppable !! my eye area has never looked better - just a little polka dot of the serum in the cup of the Opal applicator tip - I think you actually use less product applying this way.

I have used my Opal for about a year. For maximum lift, I also use Ole Henrickson's Eye Lift Gel and apply it using my Opal.

Question
Can this be used on the brow bone area?
I can not wait for this product to become available. I know it is not to be used on the eyelid or lash line but can it be used below the brow? If so, would it help to lift and firm this area? Also, how much is the serum that is used? Looking forward to hearing back. Thanks!

I would read the directions before using it anywhere other than what it is designed for. The refills are 55..00 each at Sephora or 80.00 a pair from Clairsonic site with auto ship.

Brush. With a good cleanser.

The Opal is for treating fine lines around the eyes (not acne) so if you have acne the brush is your best bet. The Opal is not a cleansing system.

Nothing will make wrinkles disappear forever aside from surgucal procedures but what this does is minimize and moisturize. However it does so using sonic technology which allows the eye gel to deeply penetrate and 'inflate" dehydrated skin and thus really minimize those lines. Like any other eye treatment if you don't use it regularly, you can't expect the results to be lasting. (No your face wont droop and sag during the day) but by days end, untill you have reached a good hydration level (drinking water and using the opal), you will notice those fine lines reappearing. What seperates the Opal from any other eye treatment is the sonic vibration delivery system. There are many medical journal articles that support the use of sonic vibration for providing pentrating treatment. (Disclaimer- Clairsonic does not make any medical claims - I am not a representative of the company or a sephora emplyee - just the end user of the product.)
