how strong is the scent?
i would love to buy this for my mom for mothers day but i dont know if its too strong like bath and body works body washes. wish i could get a sample of it. is it earthy or fake smelling?

I wasn't sure about the scent at first, I was leary to buy [for the same question you had]...but glad I did. When you first put it on, it appears strong, but as the day goes on it becomes sublte & elegant yet stays with you. It mixed well with my other perfumes, even though it could stand alone. Great moisturizer as well. I would not say it is earthy & certainly not fake smelling. It has a great blend of floral & fresh.

definitely not as strong of a scent or perfumey as bath and body or body shop...those other brands i've found also smell synthetic. the scent is not as weak as drugstore brands - also it doesn't last as strong or long as say a perfume body lotion by Chanel or other perfume brands.

No! It smells light and refreshing. You can probably get a sample in store. I did. That's how I fell in LOVE with it!

Smells much more natural than a Bath + Body Works product-- this one is especially fresh and clean and natural.

Its more natural smelling, not generic. Its light, not over perfumy, but you and people close to you should be able to smell it. Pretty medium low key smell wise (on strength)

Earthy and wonderful is how I would describe this scent. It is a definite floral so if that what you are looking for, go for it! It is not a sickeningly sweet floral, I use just the body lotion and that seems to be enough to fragrance me all day. It has a clean base like all of philosophy's fragrances.

This answer is too late for Mother's Day this year, but I would have loved to have received this as a gift. The floral scent is really nice and not heavy.

We suggest visiting a Sephora store if you would like to experience this product in person. The scent is not too strong, but rather is a mild, pleasant, soft floral scent. If your mother enjoys floral scents she may like this product.
