Apply to your face & let it sit for about 5 minutes. Rinse it off & apply moisturizer - if you are going outside be sure to put on sunscreen too.

Hi,

This is a strong product and very effective. According to Sephora directions, this is what you should do:

Shake before use.
-Cleanse skin and apply thin layer to face and neck, avoiding eye area.
-Leave for up to 5 minutes.
-Rinse off with water.
-Follow with moisturizer and sunscreen.
-Use 2-3 times per week.
-If irritation occurs, stop use immediately.
-Use a sunscreen and limit sun exposure while using this product.

I love the Dr. Brandt microdermabrasion scrub, but was looking for an enzyme peel also. Can I alternate uses of this with the scrub without damaging my skin?

I use this product once or twice a week, alternating with the Amore Pacific "enzyme peel scrub" (which I got as a 100-point VIB sample) & Dermalogica microfoliant scrub, & I have not had any problems. However, I wait at least 2 days between each product use. I'm in my 60s, with drying/aging/sensitive skin & so far, so good. One of the things I like about Sephora is that I can get samples of new products, or small/trial sizes of popular items, & can post questions about products before I try them. But I admit, I've thrown out a bunch of products that didn't work well for me. I encourage you to check out reviews for your age/skin type. Not every product is right for everyone.

I did, and it works for my skin. When I've been to exfoliating facials in the past at spas, they have used both a physical exfoliator (textured, grainy) and a chemical exfoliator. So, for my skin type it works, but ease in to it to make sure it's not too much for your skin.

I have very oily skin and I use it regularly (2-3 times a week before bed). Mainly I find it helps to prevent breakouts by exfoliating the sticky cells that inevitably clog pores with oily skin types. I use it on my entire face and I can most definitely tell the difference after use. I love this product and rely on it when it is very humid and hot in MN in summer to make sure my skin stays a little less oily and a lot clearer.
