I will thoroughly rinse the brushes with water and allow to air dry, but once per week wash them with an antibacterial soap and allow to air dry.

I don't think cleaning them between uses is necessary if you rinse it thoroughly after each use. I also make sure that it has the chance to air-dry after I use it. It's important to replace them every couple months anyway. You'll definitely notice a difference when you switch to a new brush head.

Can't say what the "best" way is, but I rinse the brushes in warm water after each use, but sometimes I'll pour a small amount of rubbing alcohol on the brush to disinfect it.

I've found that the makeup that comes off of my face doesn't always come off of the brush when I run it under the water. I put a dab of skin care cleanser on the brush to clean it. I use a cleanser that I either bought but don't really like, or a free sample cleanser. That way I'm not wasting a good product and I'm keeping the brush in good shape. Every few weeks you'll want to take the brush head off and rinse underneath or gunk will start to buld up.

I just thoroughly rinse mine in running water to make sure it doesn't have any cleanser or makeup left on it, then pat it with a towel and let it air dry. The brushes are treated with an anti-microbial, and you change it every 3 months or so, so it doesn't need much to stay nice.

Even though you dont wear makeup your skin still needs to be taken care of and cleaned on a daily basis and the younger you start the better I have found. There are days I dont wear makeup and still use my clairsonic for cleansing purposes. You should be using a good cleanser like Purity and an exfoliante everyday on your skin along with a moisturizer with at least 30 spf in it.

I don't always wash my face with this brush, but when I do, it definitely feels cleaner and more polished. I like to use this brush if I have been using a sports sunscreen on my face. This brush takes it all off. I think it would be good if you are looking for a brush to make your face feel really clean.

I have been using the mia 2 with the deep pore brush. I use philosophy cleanser at night , then I put on organ oil, and in the morning I use the philosophy micro., and then I apply a thin coat of the organ oil again...

My skin seems to be rather thick and needs the Mia to really get in there and clean. A washcloth does the trick as well but it doesn't always dry out thus increasing bacteria in the washcloth. The Mia does dry quickly and always dry and clean when I use it again. My skin is sensitive and breaks out easily .... the Mia really exfoliates which helped to clear up my skin.

Even if you don't wear make-up your skin is exposed to pollutants that are very hard on the skin not to mention the sun exposure and the sweat etc. You know what I mean. The Mia has transformed my face. You can NEVER have too clean of skin...If you keep the pores cleaned out they seem to close up a bit so as to not get larger but appear smaller. If you don't wear make up at least get your skin clean and use sunscreen...

I didn't find the acne brush to be harder than the sensitive one. But I don't have sensitive skin so I'm might not be the best one for advice. I did find that I broke out less with the acne brush. Hope that helps.

Bonjour! The Delicate brush head is the same softness as the Acne brush head. (I compared them in the Sephora store). It seems like the Acne brush has more bristles, but they are very soft.

I find the acne brush heads softer than the deep cleansing and sensitive skin brush heads. They are really gentle and non-irrirating.

the acne heads have more of a micro swead feel. they do not tear off scabs, sores, or open white heads. do be careful not to push the heads to far into your face. gently polish with a light touch

The colours are for what type of brush head you want. Grey is for normal skin, blue is delicate, white is sensitive. So it all comes down to how sensitive your skin is.

The color of the brush head tells you the softness of the brush. Grey is the normal. I believe white is sensitive and blue is delicate.

Normal brush heads are grey. The color is indicative of the type - sensitive is white, delicate is light blue.

Question
What's the difference between delicate and sensitive brush?

In my experience the delicate brush is too soft. I was also using the normal brush, and although it didn't irritate my skin, I felt that it was 'over cleaning' my skin & too abrasive. I "stepped down" to the sensitive brush, and I couldn't be happier with my glowing skin!

I didn't find any differences between them. I dont have sensitive skin but I find the normal brush head a bit too harsh. I stick to the sensitive brush heads.

I used to use the Sensitive brush, but I really prefer the Delicate brush. My skin is not overly sensitive, but the Sensitive brush started to irritate my skin after continued use. I'd say Delicate is perfect for using once a day, Sensitive for only using 2-3 times a week.
