It's good, though in certain areas (around my mouth, on cheeks where skin is drier) I may at times have to apply a second time about 5 minutes after first application. I'm in Boston where it's cold and windy, and I really like this all day.

I have combination skin which gets dehydrated in the winter. For the cold Philly winters this definitely wouldn't be enough hydration for me. I like ti during hot, sticky summers though.

This is a good daily product, but in winter with the strong sun and cold winds I step it up to the 40+ SPF product to provide more moisture and protection which, for me, is better for the extremes of the seasons.

If you have oily skin, I think it would still work great. However, if you lean more towards combination or dry - I think this would not be enough. I have oily skin and it has been great in the Summer/Fall/Winter (I am from the West Coast).

Ok, I have combinational skin lacking water due to recent acne treatment and microdermabrasion.
Before having water loss problem, this lotion was still good for me in winter times.
But after treatment, lotion was very dry for me in winter, so I switched over to clarins cream. Cream works perfectly during winter times.

I'm using this right now in the winter on the east coast where it gets windy and below 20. It's been working pretty well. I'd suggest using a toner if you feel that your skin is a little dry in the morning. I find that it helps moisturize my skin more on windy, cold days.

I bought this because I needed a new winter moisturizer, and I like it so far - hasn't gotten really cold here in the NE yet, but generally I find Clarins to be a good brand for moisturizing.
