It is not a moisturizer on its own so you need to find the appropriate moisturizer first and then once that absorbs, use this sunscreen. At least that's what I like to do because I need a moisturizer that's more hydrating and sunscreen isn't so good at that.

I'm guessing this is the American version of Canada's SPF 33 because it has the same shaped bottle and it's also a lotion for face and body. Yes it would be good for oily/acne skin but I'd try a sample first over your gel moisturizer or whatever you use as hydrator. Lotion textures are good for oily/acne prone skin. You want to avoid anything too heavy and stick to oil-free formulas.

Not sure what the "inactives" are but I can tell you that this is the only sunscreen that has not given my very, very sensitive skin a problem. Most sunscreens irritate my skin but this one has been fine. I will say that if you have dry skin too, try the one with the PA +++ as it is moisturizing as well.

hi jorn, when you see "PA" followed by any number of + symbols that is the Japanese standard of rating uv-A ray protection. the more "+" symbols the higher/better the protection...remember, your uv "a" is your aging(wrinkling, etc) rays, "b" is burning. to my understanding from reading on the internet, this method of protection rating was developed because the standard "spf" rating measures only protection from uv-b, you have to read your ingredients to make sure you're getting broad-spectrum protection.

that being said, mineral sun protection ingredients like titanium dioxide and zinc oxide are broad spectrum protection(and my preferred protection ingredients) as well they are used by shiseido. so long story short, the PA++ tells you you are getting pretty good uv a protection! sorry for the whole lecture!

It goes on very smoothly & doesn't pill.

i prefer the liquid one in blue bottle. Not heavy at all.
