The day I bought mine I tested mine around 8:30pm and noticed a shimmer still on my collarbones the next morning! I would say that you could count on this to last- while being active (at a party/day outtings)-for at least 5 hours

Lasts a looong time! I was still finding sparkles on my legs the next morning! Thankfully, the smell seems to wear off a little as time goes on.

For me it last around 2 to three hours depending on how much i use and how often i touch my skin, which when i have this on tends to be a lot because it make my skin so velvety. The scent however last a lot longer. usually all day i'll get people telling me how good i smell.

Does it come off on clothes?

I was thinking this would be a great product to put on for my wedding day for that "bridal glow" but am concernd it may rub off my arms onto my dress. Does anyone know if this is or isn't a problem?

i do not know if this product would rub off on a wedding gown. I would apply it wear a white tea shirt and white shorts to see if it rubs off

i wear black 5 days a week and i use bathlina pretty frequently and i've never had a problem with it rubbing off onto my clothes.....just be careful when applying it to make sure you dont over use the product...i would suggest buffing it in with the puff in a circular motion as opposed to just rubbing it on.

I don't think you'll have a problem with this product rubbing onto your dress because it is very light and kind moisturizes your skin.

i would definitely go with the balm's "mary lou manizer". that gives you a glow like no other and looks beautiful no matter where you put it (cheekbones, shoulders, legs, chest). this one would not be what your looking for. i live off the other one and it's the best product ever!

Yes, this will come off on your clothes. Old formula was a less greasy, don't know why they changed this.

The old formula was much better, more coverage and not as greasy. This one goes on sheer and no coverage. Smells the same as the old formula which is very nice. Bottom line the old formula was awesome, this was is just alright.

The new and improved Bathina is more compact. It is not nearly as long, I throw is in my purse and it fits perfectly. It also has more of a golden pearl to it then silver, this new shade works on all skin tones and gives you a beautiful warm glow.

I didn't use lotion, it does not look like glitter, the sheen just makes you look moisturized, doesn't sound like a lot but it's kind of shocking how just that makes your skin look better. My skin is pale and dry and it's always been a bit of an insecurity but this really improves the look

I use this as soon as I get out of the shower in place of lotion, especially before going to bed. The balm texture takes a little getting used to but it really does leave your skin feeling wonderful. It's pretty light so if you wanted to use an illuminizer or shimmer afterward I don't think it would feel too heavy.

Ingredients aren't listed, so I was wondering, are there any petroleum-based ingredients in this? I find that in my humid climate, petroleum-based ingredients can make me feel too greasy and slick for summer, which is the only time to use this! Thanks~

I have found that it is NOT greasy! I live in Southern Texas and I have absouletly replaced my lotions/ body creams with this. It's amazing!! I love it :)

If you have oily skin I would probably not try this. On my normal skin it absorbs relatively quickly but I can see how someone with oily skin may have a problem with it. I didn't see any petrolium based ingredients but here are some that you may want to know about:

safflower seed oil
jojoba seed oil
geraniol

If you find it's too heavy for your skin you can always return it.

I feel like besides it being smaller, perhaps they skimped on quality? Having had the original, larger one. This one has a slightly stronger scent as opposed to the delicate scent of the original.

I love how silky this product is. Yes it looks good on all skin tones, on dark skin it will be beautiful! It has a very light shimmer. Go for it because it has a light seductive scent.
