The day I bought mine I tested mine around 8:30pm and noticed a shimmer still on my collarbones the next morning! I would say that you could count on this to last- while being active (at a party/day outtings)-for at least 5 hours

The scent actually seems to last for a good while, but not all day. However, the glow lasts pretty much the entire day!

For me it last around 2 to three hours depending on how much i use and how often i touch my skin, which when i have this on tends to be a lot because it make my skin so velvety. The scent however last a lot longer. usually all day i'll get people telling me how good i smell.

i wear black 5 days a week and i use bathlina pretty frequently and i've never had a problem with it rubbing off onto my clothes.....just be careful when applying it to make sure you dont over use the product...i would suggest buffing it in with the puff in a circular motion as opposed to just rubbing it on.

i would definitely go with the balm's "mary lou manizer". that gives you a glow like no other and looks beautiful no matter where you put it (cheekbones, shoulders, legs, chest). this one would not be what your looking for. i live off the other one and it's the best product ever!

It's a subtle pink shimmer, so if you can pull off a baby pink color, it will look just fine.

Use with lotion? Glitter? Sensitive Skin?
Do you use lotion before you put this on, or just put it on after a shower?

The shine/sheen is very very subtle - NOT sparkly/glittery at all - just a lovely glowing look! I use alone or layer with lotions and its fin either way :-) and also works great on my sensitive skin! :-)

I didn't use lotion, it does not look like glitter, the sheen just makes you look moisturized, doesn't sound like a lot but it's kind of shocking how just that makes your skin look better. My skin is pale and dry and it's always been a bit of an insecurity but this really improves the look

I use this as soon as I get out of the shower in place of lotion, especially before going to bed. The balm texture takes a little getting used to but it really does leave your skin feeling wonderful. It's pretty light so if you wanted to use an illuminizer or shimmer afterward I don't think it would feel too heavy.

The old formula was much better, more coverage and not as greasy. This one goes on sheer and no coverage. Smells the same as the old formula which is very nice. Bottom line the old formula was awesome, this was is just alright.

Question
Ingredients? Greasy?
Ingredients aren't listed, so I was wondering, are there any petroleum-based ingredients in this? I find that in my humid climate, petroleum-based ingredients can make me feel too greasy and slick for summer, which is the only time to use this! Thanks~

If you have oily skin I would probably not try this. On my normal skin it absorbs relatively quickly but I can see how someone with oily skin may have a problem with it. I didn't see any petrolium based ingredients but here are some that you may want to know about:

safflower seed oil
jojoba seed oil
geraniol

If you find it's too heavy for your skin you can always return it.

Question
What is the best way to apply this?
The poof doesn't seem to get a lot on at a time so I'm wondering what others do to cover their arms and legs without having to continuously go back to the tin.

I think a little goes a long way with this product. It catches the light very nicely when viewed in natural light. You could always try applying with your bare hands if you want to add more, but be careful. You don't want to run the risk of looking pasty (& shimmery)!

I use to provided poof so I don't get the shimmery product all over my hands, You could use a small cosmetic spatula to remove the product, then use the poof to rub it on your arms and legs. Also, you could use a hair dryer to heat the product and make it a bit more of a liquid so you can get more product on your poof.

The formula is very sheer, so it doesn't show up super shimmery or glittery. I personally have medium/olive skin and it just leaves a very subtle sheen on me. I've seen other reviewers gripe that it doesn't show up on their skin so it's best to go into the store and try it on yourself first.

Hi Sirenely, this product has very light pinkish hue to it that should be used as more of a highlighter. It might show up as more of a faint pink if you have a darker, olive skin tone. Thanks!

Question
Is this a body version of Dr. Feelgood?
How similar is this to Dr. Feelgood? I'm not a fan of how Dr. Feelgood feels on my face, but I actually love how it makes the back of my hands feel. I'm curious to know if this is a similar product in terms of feel, and how scented it is. I've seen reviews saying the smell is overpowering and others saying it's very subtle.

I feel like besides it being smaller, perhaps they skimped on quality? Having had the original, larger one. This one has a slightly stronger scent as opposed to the delicate scent of the original.
