Personally, I wouldn't suggest it because, it will not give you any coverage. You can use it over your foundation or powder.

Personally, I would not use it on the face unless you are dressing up as a sparkle fairy for Halloween. I'm pretty sure it's made for the BODY, not the face. I wouldn't want chunky glitter all over my face, but maybe that's just me!

I would not attempt to use this as a loose face powder. You would have to spray a LOT of it to get enough to notice, and then you'd just have a face-full of glitter.

You can use it on your face if you want to. There is another product in a jar that is exactly the same thing, but since it's in a jar it is easier to apply to the face. The spray bottle here is mainly used for the hair and body, but sure you can put it on your face.

I have sprayed it on my face. I didn't have any allergic reactions. I have also thought about putting it in my hair. I think you should have fun with it but it does come out it concentrated spray so holding it away from your face before you spray may help make it look more even.

Does this product last, and is it worth the $39?

I tried this on the back of my hand in the Sephora store, and since I washed my hands pretty promptly after exiting, I cannot judge how long the shimmer will stay on my skin for after application. Also, it is a little pricy. Is it worth it? Comparisons to Bare Escentuals highlighting mineral veil?

I am not familiar with the mineral veil but I love the Shimmer Dust. It lasted al day for me because I bought a make-up setting spray. I don't think it's overpriced. It should last quite a while. The atomizer makes application easy and direct.

I would say either one. Honestly, I couldn't really tell the difference between the colors that much once it was on. The bottles are tinted and they make the glitter look more colorful than it actually is. (At least in my opinion.)

the pink bottle has a cool silvery pink shimmer and the gold bottle has a warm gold shimmer. either one is great for fair skin and can be used according to your mood and wardrobe.

the new one is gold and the older one is pink and to be honest there really isn't a huge difference between the two. If you only saw one you'd totally be in love with either so it's really just a question of which bottle do you love more! :)

It's kinda both. Like a pinky silver. You can't really tell the color that much once you put it on though. The bottle is tinted, so it makes the sparkles look more pink than they are.

The bottle is pink but the glitter looks like a mix of silver and pink to me. It's very fine sparkles so it's difficult to say but it certainly catches the light!

I noticed no purfume/scent.
it has a smell, like any product, but not a fragrance to it, so it you have allergies to purfume, i am sure you will be fine with this, but if possible try it in the store.

When I got mine it was maybe half a finger low from the top and there was NO glitter in the box/anywhere else.
I would definately go back to the store or get a exchange/refund.

I love Gold shimmer myself, especially when I have a dark tan, but sometimes gold is a little too much, and silver/color looks funny on me when i'm tanned .
I tried this product out though and its safe to say that it seems almost like a clear glitter or a more light reflecting glitter. I'd only get it if you are looking for an "every day" glitter as it wont stand out as much as the gold does, but it would give you a nice shimmer, especially in the light.

The bottle contains a butload of glitter, so yeah it seems pricey, but i think it was worth it and it looks so nice sitting on my vanity. (becuase of the packaging you can't overuse or spill the glitter either so it should last a long time of course depending on use)
