Definitely give this one a try! It adds volume and length, and it's been my experience that it holds a curl as well. It NEVER flakes on me throughout the day, and no matter how much of it I use it still feels light and doesn't weight your eyelids down. And at around $14, it's one of the less expensive brands out there, but still delivers.

I have great success with this product used in tandem with an eyelash curler. It separates and distributes mascara evenly without clumping and it doesn't flake. I was in your same boat, and I'm super happy with this.

This is great for really defined, gorgeously curled lashes. However, you really do need to use a mascara underneath(or probably primer of some sort would work) I use the lash doubling mascara underneath because i like the full soft look. If you just use this alone though it can give you spidery halloweenish lashes. I really do love it when i want dark curly lashes though

Hi, I have tried High Impact as well and really liked it until I tried High Lengths. The curved comb makes application and separation of lashes very easy and fast. I apply two coats and that gives me alot of volume and length. I have sensitive eyes and I wear contacts. The formula does not irritate my eyes. I too have tried a zillion mascaras and High Lengths has been the best so far!

In my opinion, High Impact is a NASTY mascara...it makes lashes look stumpy, broken and gross. High Lengths, though, is just perfect! It makes lashes long, feathery, and absolutely beautiful!

This mascara provides not only length, but also curl. Be sure to apply it correctly; don't let the unique brush intimidate you. Hold it so that the brush curves upward (like a smile) and begin to apply to lashes from root to tip. I also use the brush to push the tips of my lashes up, adding length and curl.

It's okay...I use the Shu Eumura Eyelash curler, which works great and has great reviews, but this formula might be a little heavy, because my eyelashes come out of their curl, and then I have to re-curl, which doesnt make them as pretty. Maybe if you layer on just a little and do it very carefully then it will stay, it MIGHT just be because of my asian eyes. If you really like the technique of this mascara (wand), then try it out!

It's more of a feathery look than a curly look, but I have naturally curly lashes so I can't to how well it holds a curl from an eyelash curler. It does not weigh down my lashes or pull out my natural curl.

You can use the make up remover wipes (like ponds that are already moistened or nuetrogena has a facial cleanser + make up remover that works very well). If flakes are falling on your cheeks it is probably because the mascara has dried out and its time for a new one. All you need is one maybe 2 coats. You start from the lash line out. I like to pull out in the direction on my outer eye I think it gives it a bettert look.

I notice more of a fiber feel than tubes. When I use it, it seems to lengthen by building on the end of your lash (but doesn't clump, thanks to the super unique brush). It's a fantastic product, and definitely worth a try. Plus, it's one of the less expensive mascara products, at just $14. Highly recommend it.

Yes I do love the High impact mascara and this one is pretty equal in my opinion.

Both stay on all day, both easily wash off with water, but the high lengths mascara clumps a lot less than the high impact mascara (it's awesome).
I find that this one.... kinda......feels? ... lighter? on my eyelashes...idk how to explain it but i think my high impact is somewhat heavier than my high lengths

I love both mascaras and i stick with these two...and they have an excellent price :D

i sometimes even wear both in combination.... :D and i like it :)

I haven't used the high impact formula before but I do know that this mascara stays on all day. I have oily skin so my mascara tends to melt and run down my face by the end of the day. Question
How do I put it on?
I know this is a question a lot of people will have. I work for Clinique and some of the issues clients have been having relate back to improper application. This is not a traditional mascara, where you use the brush to push back the lashes to obtain curl. You want to hold the brush with the bristles pointed out, almost like a smile and then pull straight out. This will give you maximum length and as the formula dries it will tighten to give lift and curl.

Alot of people struggle with the application in tis specific product. This bristled are placed in this specific location to evenly coat your lashes while brushing them out, lengthening and volumizing each and every lash. The way that works best for me, and most of the people I've worked with, is when you apply the bristles straight out, towards your eyelid, and pull the brush up your lash (from root to tip) in the naturally circular shape of your lashes. You should only have to apply one coat of this product, but you can choose to apply as manycoats as you prefer. I hope this answer satisfyed you. :)

I REALLY have this problem! The skin just beneath my eyebrows sweats a lot and it always smudges mascara. This mascara doesn't flake as much as some, but it still gives me trouble. The best solution for this problem is the Urban Decay product "De-slick in a tube." If I just blend a little of de-slick onto the area beneath my brows, it banishes sweat all day long so the problem is solved. It's a very effective product for oily skin and I'm sure it would work for you--you should give it a try. Hope this helps!

I have not used this mascara yet, but I also have a problem with mascara flaking or making me have coon eyes. The mascara I tried that does not do this are the mascaras that form a tube around your lashes. Trish McEvoy has one and so does Loreal for a much less expensive price.
