I believe if you don't wear make-up you shouldn't use it. There are other cleansers out there that you could use to treat you're acne and are meant for dry skin. I recommend boscia purifying cleansing gel.

My skin isn't dry, but it is definitely acne-prone if I'm not careful, and I've had absolutely no problems with this. It rinses very clean but doesn't strip the skin.

I have acne prone skin and I don't know if this will "treat" acne but I don't find it causes breakouts. It is a deep cleanser and not over drying so I think perhaps it would help prevent acne as it will help keep your pores clean.

i wouldnt use this if you dont wear makeup. its not used for treating dry skin. if you have acne with dry skin i would try the GO CLEAR line at sephora. ive been using it for about a month and im really liking it. i dont have dry skin but this line is for all types of skin and the cleanser is gentle and hydrating and cleans very well. it doesnt have any acne active ingedients like saliycic acid. the lady at sephora said this GO CLEAR was creaated for people who have dry skin with acne. and also you could look into hyaluronic acid, it hydrates your skin day and night. its attracts moisture or something. i use the peter thomas roth one during the winter.
hope this helps! good luck!

I would find a nother product to use if you're not lokking for a make-up remover. I found it not to be a great cleanser. I would stick with a cleanser from either Murad or Philosophy.

no, this doesn't help with dry skin or acne. It is only helpful if you wear a good amount of makeup as it breaks it up whereas other cleansers can't. It wouldn't hurt dry skin but something else would be much more effective. A creamy, soap-free cleanser. Then use a treatment w/ salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide or glycolic acid for the acne.

Not at all. If u find that you do need a toner is because the cleanser is not doing it's job or you have really oily skin, and u like that matte finish.

I think it depends on your skin type and preference. I have combination skin. I use the cleansing oil as my main cleanser because I have found other foaming cleansers dry out the top layer of my skin, causing deep breakouts, where the cleansing oil leaves it clean, soft, and slightly moisturized.

Yes! I use it to remove all my makeup INCLUDING waterproof eye makeup. I use Urban Decay Primer Potion, Smashbox Jet Set Eyeliner, Bad Gal Lash Waterproof Mascara, Bare Minerals Powder Eyeliner and loads of different eyeshadows. They ALL come off beautifully with Boscia. I have not had any eye irritation or clogging problems. My skin is combination/oily and prone to breakouts but this product keeps my skin feeling clean and fresh without having to use extra cleansers afterward. I just apply as directed and rinse off with lukewarm water then apply my usual moisturizers. You don't even really need to use that much product which is great because it lasts a really long time. Hope this helps!

When you use it, be very gentle. As you should be with any product when you have rosacea. I'm also a licensed esthetician and if you think this product or any other is making you redder, discontinue immediately. But, based on this product it just might calm your skin. Try it and see.

I have sensitive skin that is red with a few marks (not Rosacea though where your nose grows, etc). I have been using an oil based cleanser 4Ever and also gave one to my mom who had Rosacea. I gave her the Cleansing Milk Seacrets from the Dead Sea which is a thicker form of this and told her never to use water on her face. Her face cleared right up. She still had a bit of redness and a few break outs, but WHAT a difference. If you have Rosacea, you may be irritating your skin with your cleansers and if you let water on your face, you may be causing more skin irritation than if you go with a really good oil cleanser (just don't get it in your eyes)

I suffer from mild to moderate rosacea, and would highly recommend that you try a sample of this first. I use the basic Boscia skin care line (purifying cleansing gel, am and pm moisturizers and toner), but have had bad reactions to their products with witch hazel, alcohol, menthol, or eucalyptus oil. These are all common rosacea triggers (see the National Rosacea Society website FAQs for common triggers). This product has both eucalyotus oil and menthol (check out the Boscia website for the ingredient listing for this product). I think that Boscia is a great brand for sensitive skin, but not all of their products are good for people with rosacea. Just in case you are interested in their other products, I would also recommend trying samples first of their masks, especially the black mask (alcohol and witch hazel in top three ingredients, and also contains eucalyptus oil). I had an especially bad reaction to the black mask.

I don't have rosacea but I do have skin that gets red and inflamed very easily. This product has a definite calming effect for me. Might be worth a try for you - Sephora will always let you return it if it doesn't work out. Another great option to try for rosacea is the cleanser from First Aid Beauty.

I have rosacea, so I know your concern. My experience is it is gentle, doesn't sting or overstrip the skin - so I have not had red-flares with changing to or using this product. I find if my skin is moisturized, it stays calmer and this stuff leaves very soft skin behind. Sadly, I thought, ah "cooling" - but I'm not feeling that and keeping it in the fridge or such, well 3 flrs down at night, no thanks. It is a crazy time at work, so I am having some stress red, but I will say it's not as bad as it could be, or was int he past - as I coddle the skin how I can - with gentle products. Try a sample at your Sephora store if possible.

Question
Is this good for sensitive, acne-prone skin?
I have SUPER sensitive skin and am looking for a good makeup remover. If I put anything with vegetable/petroleum-based oil on my skin I get big cystic pimples. But I was thinking that this product might work well for me since it has essential oils, which have worked for me in the past. I love the Boscia tinted moisturizer and oil-free moisturizer. Please let me know about your experiences with this product.

I have sensitive, combination, acne-prone skin and was using a different "all-in-one" cleanser from another brand. My skin was totally broken out and I was advised by a Sephora rep that the oil-based makeup removers break down makeup better than the others. I tried this one because I have always loved Boscia's cleansers and within a few days my skin cleared up and is looking really good. I use it at night as a makeup remover/cleanser (add water to wash off) and I use the purifying cleansing gel in the a.m..
