Living Proof Full Thickening Cream

What it is:A lightweight cream that leaves hair looking and feeling noticeably thicker and healthier. What it does:This styling innovation allows fine, thin hair to act like thick hair with naturally soft, touchable body. By depositing thickening points on the hair strands, Full creates a thicker surface that enables fine hair to have natural movement and bounce, beautiful shape, and volume throughout the day. While traditional thickening products create a hard, brittle hold that collapses upon touch, Full allows your style to remain flexible, soft, and resilient. Go ahead, run your fingers through your hair, no need to fear a style fall. What it is formulated WITHOUT:- Parabens

Question
I have very fine hair. Will this make my hair more flyaway?

answer 1
This product actually HELPED with my fly-aways, both just in terms of days when I would get a lot of fly-away hair from the weather and also the tiny new hairs around my face and neck. They just all seemed to disappear and the final result has been thicker looking, more uniform behaving hair all over my head. Highly recommended product!

I've had the same trouble with some products and my fine hair, where I use something that says "thickening" and my hair just ends up thinner and sticking straight out of my scalp and flying-away like you wonder about. This one doesn't do it at all... it makes my hair soft and "plumped", not heavy, my style "shape" holds all day, and I do not get the flyaways. I hope that helps, but at least Sephora has their guarantee and if it doesn't work for you you can return the product. See if you can find it as a sample first, but I bet you'll love it.

Question
How long will a small bottle last you?
I've heard good things from this product, so I want to try it. And its more economical in the long run to buy the larger bottle, but want to make sure I like the product first. How Long though do you think a small bottle would last me?

Hi,

The amount of time the product should last you will depend on usage. I have had mine for 4 mo. and I still have a decent amount of product. I use mine once everyday.

I've used the small bottle each day for almost a month now. I have long hair (to my bra strap) and use about a dime-nickel size amount each day.

Since I only have to use a dime size in my hand for shorter hair, the small bottle lasts along time. Bought the small bottle to try it for first time. I've used this for over 2 weeks and the bottle is about 1/4 to 1/2 gone so far. So bet the small bottle will last about a month or more. And save it to use on traveling in future. Love small bottle samples for traveling, buy larger bottles in future and then fill the small bottles for traveling. Love that Living Proof sells small bottles to try first.

I bought the small size too, mostly because I was afraid of shelling out almost $30 on something I was afraid would be totally useless. Depending how much you use and how long your hair is, it should last you at least a week, maybe two. My hair is mid-back, and I don't use it every day, and have had it a couple of weeks. I think the instructions say to use a dime-sized amount, but I have better results when I use a little more. Give it a go, you might love it!

My hair is to the middle of my back and I swear by this product. I put a dime sized amount just past my roots, comb it through, dry my roots upside down and round brush the ends. You may want to use a little bit more towards the middle of your hair but I think it should work pretty well for you.

I have long hair that goes half way down my back. I love this product! I do have to use quite a bit of it. I use about 2 loonie size portions in my wet hair from root to tip and then blow dry. It gives my hair a nice boost and helps when I back-comb.

I apply a little root lifter to the roots and blow dry and style like not would

Starting just below the roots, apply product evenly through damp, detangled hair. For shorter styles a dime-sized quantity is sufficient; apply slightly more for longer styles.

not as much, no. it's really formulated more for blow drying. if you air dry it, it gets a bit clumpy looking. if you blow dry (or even just fluff it at the end) you get a definite thickening aspect.

No it's not. It's a cream and you only use about the size of a dime. It's applied beyond your roots vs at the roots like mousse. This is a thickening cream, so it doesn't do what mousse does for hair.

I usually find volumizing mousses harder to deal with, you only need a small amount of this, maybe a nickel size dollop for short hair. I know I won't leave home without it!

answer 6
No, definitely not. If you apply it like a mousse, than you will be left with greasy bed-head. Apply sparingly, a dime-sized amount, at first, you might need a little less or more, but it is better to side on caution with this product and be conservative. It will take a couple of uses to get a feeling of how much to use. But I think you will be very happy with this product!

As with other products, just don't "scrub" it into your scalp. You don't want this stuff building up on your scalp, so try to just get the free-hanging hair and avoid touching your scalp.

Do just that, start just a little bit beyond your roots. Unlike with mousse that you apply to the roots of your hair for volume, this is applied just beyond t.ere roots and through your hair to the ends.
