I'm almost 25. I use this and absolutely love it! It's never too early to start preventing line and wrinkles... the younger, the better!

Honestly at your age the best thing you can do for your skin is prevent damage. This means stay out of the sun and use SPF if you're out in it. This means maybe get on a green tea kick and also, most importantly, drink your allotment of water. This means don't become a lush - alcohol is very bad for your skin. This means don't smoke as that's super damaging to your skin too. Lastly stay away from steroids like anything cow (meat and dairy) treated with rBST (testosterone inducing steroid). Eat organic grassfed meats. Overall your duty at 21 is to protect and prevent. Not anti-age. And Dr. Brandt does none of that. I use a good sunscreen from Peter Thomas Roth and a good night cream from Murad with Vitamin C in it. They protect and prevent. Look into products with hyaluronic acid and vitamin C. They are all women's best friends.

Yes, it is an oil-free moisturizer and was recommended to me by a Sephora consultant who uses it herself, having oily, acne-prone skin like myself. I've very happy with it after a week of using it. I haven't had any clogged pores or breakouts! The fact that it's an anti-ager makes it even better.

I use this product and yes, it is moisturizing/hydrating. I'm not sure if it would be enough moisture for very dry skin, but I have combination skin (oily t-zone, dry cheeks) and this lotion seems to moisturize very well without being too heavy.

If you have oily skin, it can double as a moisturizer. I've been using it at night, with my normal moisturizer in the morning.

yes, it is the best I have used in years. I have combo skin with large pores and fine lines. It won't completely get rid of either, but does offer some help. I'm also prone to breakouts, but my skin has been clear since I've been using. I'm on my 2nd bottle!

I recommend using Josie Maran's argon oil. A little goes a long way, keeps skin moisturized and it helps with blemishes and scars.

Pigmentation is the most difficult condition to correct, and it always wants to come back. Look for some thing with vitamin c in it. If you use this product at night and a vita c product during the day, that would be ideal.

Question
Is it beneficial to use anit-aging mattifying lotion with pores no more refiner
I recently was out of town and stopped into a Sephora store. The sales girl recommended the pores no more primer. I do really like it and was online to order some when I found the anti-aging mattifying lotion too. Will I see additional improvement if I use both products before my foundation? I have large pores, oily skin, and some acne scarring on my cheeks. I use a double matte foundation by Este Lauder.

I have the same skin problems you do and have tried Pores No More, which is good for smoothing out your skin, but you could do just as well without it.Unless your pores are huge, it'll just add another layer to your makeup. The mattifying lotion is a wonderful product and absorbs oil very well so your foundation can look great for hours.

Question
Difference between this lotion and the pore effect cream?
What is the main difference between the two Pore no more lotion/cream? Is it just the product texture? What are the general recommendations so I can choose which one to get. Also interested in the PNM refiner, is it needed if I'm using the PNM moisteriser?

I've tried them both. The rp3 poer minimizing cream is a heavier lotion better suited for night time, the pores no more mattifying lotion is a lighter day time moisturizer strongly suited for oily skin types - the main focus here is shine control.

They are both great, the pore effects is a little heavier but your skin will look amazing after only a few days, mine did. I use the mattifying lotion during the day and the pore effects at night because I am so oily that the pore effects during the day is just a little too much for me. But it is a great product and I would definately recommend trying it first.

I would use the moisturizer and the refiner. The moisturizer helps balance your skin and the refiner is used after the moisturizer to help keep the oil at bay. If you don't have very oily i would use the refiner on your t-zone.

Question
moisturizer?
I was just wondering if this is a moisturizer or a lotion...
I've had a lotion before and it wasn't moisturizing enough, so I was wondering if this is good or not. Could I where this under a moisturizer or would that be a bad idea? Help! Please and thanks! :)

I wear it under a tinted moisturizer with SPF, it works just fine and I find it helps control the shiny greasy look of sun block.

I have tried using it both ways: by itself and with a moisturizer over it. Everyone's skin is different, so it's going to vary from individual to individual. For me, it works best on it's own. I find if I pair it with a moisturizer, the combination of products feels too heavy on my face. Plus, I end up with more shine. My suggestion is to wear the lotion during the day and then use a product that provides a great deal of moisture at night. I use Fresh's Seaberry Oil at night to provide my skin with a great deal of moisture. If you want something that isn't straight oil, you should also try the Korres Wild Rose + Vitamin C Advanced Brightening Sleeping Facial. It makes your skin look radiant and provides a great deal of moisture throughout the night. I hope some of these suggestions help!
