Is it truly waterproof?
some eye liners claim to be waterproof but when worn on a hot summer day or to the pool, they wear off or leave racoon-like marks around the eyes

I went swimming (not doing laps or anything intense) with this on and it didn't run at all. I was very very careful about not touching it at all throughout the time though. I find that when my waterproof makeup runs it's because I touched it.

Is everyone here drinking the Kool-Aid? I bought it in black and it makes the corners of my eyes water-- it had melted off in 2 hours. I think people want to believe that there is a magical mascara that they can wear to the pool but it just isn't so. If it can't last 2 hours in the office it ain't worth $20.

I have a hard time finding eye makeup removers that don't bother my eyes. But I've been using Sephora Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover with very good results. You shake it up before you apply. It's slick but doesn't feel greasy or give you blurry vision. It gets all the eyeliner (and shadow, mascara, etc.) off, too. I apply it with a cotton round (and a cotton swab if I've used a lot of liner that day).

I love this eyeliner, but I am extremely surprised by some of the comments for this pen. This liner only lasted me 1 1/2 months before drying out completely. I only put it on for school with a modest cat line. I don't line my lower lashes. I was extremely disappointed on how fast the liner dried out on me. It was $20 +tax and couldn't even last me 2-3 months!

Question
What does one use to take this awesome eyeliner off?! I have bought every "top recommended" eye make-up remover, but this eyeliner won't budge.
I can't get this eyeliner off. I hate to give up using it because it's the best eyeliner I've ever used (I'm over 50), but I'm having a heck of time getting it off at night. I've tried Almay, Alba, Bobbi Brown, Neutragena--I can't find anything to take it off. And yes, I get the oil-based removers because the non-oil ones aren't even close to effective!
THANKS!

I store mine with the tip down. Then, before applying it, gently shake it with the cap on. You'll hear a clicking sound which I believe is something inside the cap that will mix it up and saturate the tip. I do this before applying it to each eye and I don't have a problem.

answer 5
I would recommend using this just on the top lid. I've used it on the bottom lid before but it didn't look super good.

liquid pen eyeliners are better for the top eyelids, especially for cat eye or winged eye. for the bottom eyeliner, a pencil eyeliner or kohl liner would work better.

I personally use this for the top of my eye lids and it comes out amazing. I use a regular pencil on the bottom eyelids because I don't like to risk getting the liquid liners in my eye. Truly a great product!

Yes, I've used it for both. But I like it best for bottom as sometimes it seems too harsh for me as an upper lid liner.

Best for top eyelid, but could use for bottom: it pretty much stays put. I wouldn't use for inner rim though, because it is a a liquid.
