I have not used it with other foundations on a regular basis, but I did use it with several liquid foundation samples, and it worked well. Went back to BE foundation, however.

YES Of course! Thats the only way I use it! I put on my liquid foundation, and then dust on the mineral veil. It stays put all day, keeps my foundation in place and avoids my skin from getting shiny.

Mineral veil is a sheer finishing powder, not a bronzer. Apply it after the foundation, bronzer, &/or blush.

Mineral Veil is not a bronzer and has no color. It is sheer. The B. E. product you would want that gives a bronze color is called Warmth. You would then seal Warmth with your Mineral Veil. Mineral Veil will offer sheer protection for your makeup and will add SPF to protect your skin.

It has a sheer effect, so it would work as a sheer bronzer, but I would use the overall cheek colors instead. They are more saturated. I don't wear the tan mineral veil, I wear the original, but it provides a light weight sheer powder that helps blot oil and reduce shine. It "finishes" my foundation/bronzer/blush layers and helps them set.

The mineral veil is not intended for coverage (BE sells separate mineral foundations and multi-tasking face powders that are great for coverage). Think of this product as a lightweight, translucent finishing powder.

They are starting to put the click top on all their products. Not sure which ones have it currently. Keeps the powders from spilling all over when traveling or if you put it in your purse.

answer 5
I bought an Original Mineral Veil just a few weeks ago, and it did not have the Click-Lock cap. I've found a trick that helps on the mineral veil, which has a tendency to go everywhere. When you first get a new one, instead of peeling the sticker off, poke out a few of the holes with a pin. This way, not all the holes are open, and there is less chance of a powder explosion. I wish they'd put the click-lock cap on everything, including eye-shadows, but for now, that trick helps a lot.

I can tell you that this product was highly recommended by my doctor and his nurses. I am using a product to remove my age spots and wrinkles (without surgery), so I must fully protect my skin. This is the line of products that the nurses in the office use. P.S. My doctor has been one of "America's Best Doctors" since the '90s.

No it doesn't I've finally found the answer. This does not have Zinc Oxide which covers UVA2 rays which are more damaging and tanning. Titanium Oxide which this product has only covers UVA1 rays. I need something that prevents age spots or redarkening of acne and age spots and without Zinc Oxide this product does not fully cover.

Yes, it's oil free. It a loose transluscent powder that does not cause breakouts (at least not on my super sensitive skin)! It also contains natural SPF (titanium dioxide) that is gentle but strong protection from the sun. It's great for oily skin because it helps absorb excess oil throughout the day.

The SPF 25 is darker in color and also heavier on the skin than the original mineral veil. It's a little closer to the foundation with texture and coverage, I think. I didn't like it for my skin and coloring - it settles into my pores and instead of giving me that ethereal glow that the OG MV does, it looked really cakey and darkened on my skin as the day went on. The OG MV is just gorgeous and very light! I'm going back to the original!

What’s the color difference with the tinted?

The tinted one (with "warmth" or whatever it's called) has kind of a little bronze-y tone to it, like you've gotten a little sun. It works well, too, I just am not a fan of bronzer (or really blush either for that matter), but it is good quality and looks more natural than just a bronzer. Makes you look like you've been on vacation but not like you're overly trying to say "hey, I got a tan guys!" lol. I have it as well as the original mineral veil, and I use it occasionally, just on the apples of my cheeks (makes your face look slimmer).

I use the tinted mineral veil when I'm tan. It looks more natural. If I'm in fall or winter seasons I stick with the origional mineral veil. The tinted version is a little more brown/tan compared to the peachy/pink of the origional. If I'm running low on the tinted one during peak summer I just add a little sheer radiance in a bronze color. (it has a little shimmer to it where tinted mineral veil doesn't). Hope this helps.

answer 3
Original is sheer and almost colorless. The tinted ones have a bit of color. I use the sheer one first, and use warmth as a bronzer. If your complexion needs more color, go for the one with color. If not, the sheer one is gorgeous and natural looking.

answer 4
The color in the tinted MV was a deal breaker for me, just didn't go with my rather odd skin, very fair with serious olive undertones. Ask for a sample at Sephora, and they will gladly give you some to try. You can also return a used product, but I think that is not a good idea when samples are happily given to customers at Sephora.

The original mineral veil goes on more white looking, with my medium skin tone I found it looked more natural on my skin. After buying the tinted mineral veil to compare I began mixing warmth and/or soft focus warmth with my original mineral veil to give it a more natural blending look. So in shhort the tinted mineral veil just has a little bronzer in it, but not enough to make you look tan like an outright bronzer such as warmth.

Sometimes there is a special offer or package that has the brush. Usually, it has to be purchased. The brush is extremely important to the success of this product. Buy the best "kabuki" style that you can afford. The ones BE offers are excellent as are the ones by Sephora.

With this product you can build the amount of coverage you want. You can go from light (like a tinted moisturizer) to heavy (like full-on liquid/cream) - with the amount you apply. It is excellent for a light dusting in the summer months. Particularly if you live some place with the high heat and high humidity.

The SPF 25 Tinted Mineral Veil (completely sheer with a hint of warmth) Item # 1229103
provides minimal coverage, however for more coverage we would suggest using their Foundation (available in their Original and Matte formulas) and/ or their Multi-Tasking Minerals (concealer) for more coverage, and then setting with Mineral Veil.
