It took me forever to get the powder to come out the head. You have to make sure you turn it all the to open. When you hear the click noise, press the brush head against your hand and it will eventually come out, if it doesnt all leak out the bottom first.

I bought this at a bareMinerals store and was very unhappy about it also. I have since emptied it and use it as a travel brush since the retracting brush and lid are nice features. Either return it to Sephora or use it for travel since it is a terrible design. The hairs in the brush are too short and don't move enough to get the product onto them. Take care!

Did you make sure to open it all the way? It must "click" to open. I have it and I absolutely love it. Shake it a little, but it should immediately disburse mineral veil. Try to exchange it, because you're missing out on a wonderful product.

I had to sort of prime it the first time. Try it out on your wrist. Remember you don't want to actually see much of the powder on the brush - or there is too much. Don't forget about the tap and swirl

The brush is held in place by a really strong magnet. All you need to do is pull it by the bristles strait away from the handle. Wash it as you would your regular brushes, but let it dry really well before reinstalling in the handle.

Mineral Veil goes well over any other product. Since I use it for touch ups away from home, I can not say whether I would recommend using it after applying other makeup at home. the brush is a bit stiff and may pick up liquid or cream making more frequent cleaning of the brush.

Yes - I do! And it works great.

I use liquid foundation for the coverage and because I find it faster for my daily routine than mineral powder foundation.

I use the mineral veil over my liquid foundation to set and finish it off. Gives a great but subtle air-brush finish.

answer 4
I have the solution!!

The reason the powder doesn't come out of some of the brushes is because the pre-filled Mineral Veil gets clogged in the "tube" (that leads from reservoir to brush) from the time it gets packed at the factory, until you buy it and take it home.

Here's how to unclog it: 1) take the detachable brush off; 2) with the brush-side of the implement facing down, tap the implement on a hard surface (such as a counter top) until the powder starts to come out of the opening of the "tube". Note: You may want to place a napkin or tissue on a hard surface before you tap the implement on it, so you don't mess up your counter top.

Once you do that, you should have not problems with getting the powder to dispense.

I think once the powder starts to fill in the brush it will be easier. I got the silver limited edition MV with 3 holes instead of one and I thought it worked much better. I will keep trying with this one, just cause I love the size and portability. I also have the foundation in this size for my travel case.
