The first women's fragrance from Acqua di Parma, Profumo is a sophisticated composition for women who embrace timeless elegance. This soft, aromatic scent is comprised of heady, citrus top notes featuring three types of bergamot. The heart of the essence centers around a burst of spice soothed by base notes of precious woods and amber resins. The packaging is reminiscent of fine jewelry with a hand-applied natural-silk-covered box and a pillow form made of duchess satin. Notes:Bergamot, Orange, Ylang-Ylang, Orris Iris, Jasmine, Grasse Jasmine, Rose, Patchouli, Oakmoss, Grey Amber, Vanilla.
I've been wearing Profumo for years and love it. I've also been ordering it from Sephora. Is it just the packaging that's changed. Please tell me this hasn't become yet another wonderfull perfume re-mixed with too much patchouli! I'll cry big crocodille tears!

The 2008 version of Aqua di Parma Profumo maintains the integrity of the unique original 1930 parfum, but is a touch lighter & more wearable. You will love it!

I avoid using a scent with patchouli, musk, or something that has a little weight for summer. I am wondering if this scent can be worn in summer time.

I definitely think this can be worn during the summer, in moderation. When used lightly it has a great subtle scent that would go well with sun warmed skin and flirty dresses. Put it on too heavy and the fragrance would be overpowering and too...dark, for lack of a better word. This perfume would also be great layered with a more vanilla-y scent for the summer.

Can I get a sample of this fragrance?...
I see you only have it available online, and I'm intrigued by the description, so I'd love to sample it.
