I got Hollywoodland & use it daily as a brow highlighter, as well as dotted around the rest of my face where you would normally use any shimmer / glow / illuminising product. The consistency makes it very easy to blen and the pencil makes for an easy applicator. I stash it in my handbag for a quick touch up at the end of the day to make myself appear fresher & add a touch of glow. (I suggest trying a touch on the cupid's bow to make lips appear fuller.)

I have blue eyes, fair skin, (blonde hair!) and I love it. It will definitely crease if you use it alone, even with the Nars or any other primer I have tried, but it is great if you use it paired with something else. It goes on broad, not like an eyeliner at all. I do not regret my purchase, even though it seems like a lot of $$$ it will last a long time I think, and it is super gorgeous!

I'm not sure which color you were considering, but I have blue eyes and fair skin, and I use aigle noir for creating a smokey eye - I highly recommend it! I think a lot of the colors are fun.

I really love it. I have fair skin and hazel eyes and think it looks good on me. It creases after lonnng wear but is good quality and doesn't crease if you wear it with an eyeshadow primer - I bought one from here from Nars that is also really good.

I was not happy with the quality of the product - even with urban decay shadow primer, it creased off mid-day - and looked really strange after that. It was too creamy, and it creamed right off. It was like it was oily, (and my skin is not) and it was slip sliding around. I've never had any other issues with any other NARS products.

Question
Is there more product in the pencil?
I was wondering it i were possible to twist the bottom and get more of the shadow out, or if that little tip at the top is all the product that is given with the product.

You'll need a jumbo pencil sharpener - Sephora sell a combo regular / jumbo sharpener for a very reasonable price.

You can actually sharpen it. I, too, was confused, because at first glance, the tip looks too perfect to be able to sharpen. Make sure you have a larger sharpener - I know NARS makes one, but there are others available, too.

Hi,

For whatever it's worth, the pencil lasts for a very long time, as it's sharpened down. It applies very beautifully.

Hope this helps.

This is actually a pencil which can be sharpened.

We suggest Nars Pencil Sharpener. The larger barrel has a removable plastic adjuster piece which will allow the sharpener to accomodate this pencil and other larger pencils.

How do I sharpen these pencils??
I have a sharpener that accomodates the larger pencils, but the 'casing' on these Nars pencils is so thick and hard, they won't sharpen. Does anyone know if the NARS sharpener does it any better than a drug store sharpener?

I've not used the Nars product in Goddess but I love the Benefit eye bright. It's a bit pinky so if you have a darker complexion it may not be right for you but I adore the eye bright. I use it when my eyes are looking tired OR when i really want to make my eyes pop!!

If this product is only until it wears out it is totally not worth 24$ it would not have nearly as much shadow as a non pencil shadow.

Yes this can be sharpened; you are correct that it wouldn't be worth the money if it was just until the top wore off. For sure if you get the Nars make sure you use a base with it. The colors are great but for long wear you want a great base.
